wow at the last 2 posts, how different...
are the people getting low drops not killing very many mobs? do you have TH4 touching every mob? how can they be this different...
Dynamis Valkurm, skipped boss due to missing a few key people, killed all the prepopped Sabotendars and Hippogryphs with nothing but a meager amount of coins to show for it, TH4 applied to every mob. Or does killing CC load the accessory/-1 drops? I asked in the random question thread, was this known and I was just not in the know? Might try again next time our timer is up. Seems like hit or miss with CoP, you get a fuckload of shit or nothing from what I've seen.
I have to agree Maacha. I wanna know if you guys are low manning or with/without TH4 lol. At any rate, it seems overall it's a marked increase... any AF is better than none in Xarc.
Did Dynamis last night with my ls got :

I doubt it's equal to city drops. But it seems to be one hell of an improvement
I swear they're gonna nerf Beau's drop rate after checking out page 6.

Peeps getting loads of drops - how many are you going in with and are they super pimped? I'm the leader of a new shell but previously was in a long term experienced shell which broke. Right now we need to kill more but its improving every run. Just wanting to get a feel for the size/experience of the dyna shells pulling off these numbers.
The shell I was in was pretty experienced but only ran 18 to 24. We did ok but I think our best was 13 in bastok
I assume my group is one of the ones you're referring to, considering no one's beaten my results so far haha.
Generally our group heads into dynamis with 25-27. Last night we had 32, including a few new members. At the beginning of the year, the shell was led by a friend of mine, who took it over when I quit originally. Around then, though, he had to cut his playtime down and eventually quit, so I took leadership back. I reformed the way we did our parties and gradually improved the LS. The shitty players eventually flaked out and I was careful not to invite any new shitty players.
For the longest while, we parsed our dynamis runs with the help of a dragoon that could actually stand seeing all the numbers fly by his chat log. This helped me a lot in figuring out who was actually pulling their weight and who would be better placed on a mage job instead. Using this I basically pigeonholed members into certain jobs (perhaps by accident, I don't know), and we usually have the same core group of melees. Currently, that core group consists of something along the lines of: Three Ridill WARs, an Amano SAM, a Kikoku NIN, a couple Black Belt MNKs, and a pimped out DRK (who'll be working on relic once I finish my Mandau).
I often pull myself because my vast experience with it gives us a huge advantage when it comes to whether or not we're waiting on monsters or get overwhelmed with them. Also costantly triyng to MPK a group of 30 people is fun.
As for the 21 AF run posted on the last page, this is as specific as I can get:

We went perhaps a little slower than I would have hoped for considering we had ~5-6 more than we usually do when we clear out all of Beaucedine's normal beastmen plus the first fomor extension, but we cleared more fomors than usual also, so maybe that had something to do with it...
Anyway, we followed the typical start path in Beaucedine, clearing the first bit with various beastmen, then the two patches of yagudos. Up the hill, cleared the goblins on the left, went north and cleared those up to and including the extension. Then went up to fomors and cleared every fomor and eye up the hill on the right, and the two eyes+fomors on the left. Usually we sac the extension popped after all the safe pulls, but we had extra time. Following that we went back down to the goblins and cleared out all the pulls around the goblin mega boss statue, and killed the statue plus its NMs. Finally, the remaining goblins south of the tower there, then moved onto the yagudo level again. Went north and cleared out all of the yagudos here, up to and including the mega boss statue. On the quadav level, we skipped the mega boss statue pulls for the time being (as I was unsure of our time) and went on to clear the rest of the level. I pulled the orcs in the path to the orc lake from above after this, and then we went down and got the last 3 pulls at the lake. Backtracked out towards Fei'Yin and pulled all the statues around the mega boss guy, killed them and went north, cleared out the final time extension, the various beastmen statues towards the NM lake, and then the NM lake. We had just under 30min left at this point so I had the group head back to the final quadav pulls, and we farmed most of these (had to leave 2 pulls). After that we just went straight for the win, which we got 5min early and made me regret leaving the 2 pulls behind, but alas, we can't all be perfect.
I realize that was a wall of text, deal with it.I don't know how detailed you wanted it, but there was our run, basically. Oh also, I pull with TH4 and I often/always make sure the THF that is meleeing has TH4. I make it my number one priority to pluck all statues with a ranged attack, and I yell at BLMs who nuke statues that are still yellow.
My shell routinely runs with ~30-40 people. Maybe half are veterans (2+ years with the shell), the other half are newer members who maybe only joined us to get clears and a few drops before they jump shells ^^; Very few of us do any HNMing, so you could hardly call us super pimped. We normally have 2-3 TH4 thieves, one who is main puller and touches all statues (my husband ^^). We also have 3-4 other TH3 thieves usually.
Up until now our record was 6 in Beaucedine and 16 in a town (bastok)
So far I'm noticing the same exact randomness and iniquicity that was present pre-patch.
So the drop rate increase, appearently, it's not as noticeable as some of us wished for.
Probably it was naive from us to even expect that.
Did Xarc last night. Got about 60 coins and RDM hat. Yes, we had TH4 touching everything. But, honestly, that is an increase for us (first RDM hat we have seen in over a year.) As far as number of mobs killed, we cleared all the NM's (the RDM NM is where we got the hat), all of the mobs around the shield and horn, and did some other pulls. Did not kill a whole lot mainly cause this was a smaller farming run.
We got shitted on last night in Xarc w/ TH4:
