What, you thought a low level employee in a retail store would care enough to try to be unbiased? There are tons of 360 fans out there (with good reason), don't be surprised when you hear people do shit like this. Clerks who think they're providing a service by dissuading somebody from getting what they want is common in enthusiast industries. It's worst with Wiis and people who try to dissuade people from wanting them.

oh i know that most places are like that, most gamestops included, as almost all of them in my area are like that. we dont allow our employees to do that at my store though as its doing a real disservice to customers =/

thats pretty sad that you do that to people, i own a ps3 but i still sell more 360's than ps3's. its what has the games for the person thats getting it, if they gotta play halo get a 360, if they really wanna play mgs4 etc they get a ps3. feel sorry for everyone you made get a 360 ;p

He didn't make anyone get anything. If you walk into a game store with over $300 to spend you aren't sure what you want you probably deserve to be led so easily into buying something you might not want.

you get asked 10x a day which system is better, the wrong answer is to answer one. tell them it doesnt matter, which one has the games you want to play. that's all we do.

i agree, and ive actually walked out of gamestop stores before because of stuff like that. when i bought my ps3 at another store(we didn't have any 60gb in stock) they actually tried to talk me out of it. i knew damn well what i was buying and they even knew i worked for the company and they still did it. i seriously wonder how they sell any ps3's at all.

Yeah I forget exactly what I was getting, I think it was Warhawk and they tried to talk me into a Madden game or some other sports game. I was like wth, those games arent even of the same genre. I hate sports games lol.

It's a pretty good fighting game btw. I never watched the TV show.

its mostly because we work on commission and it's shown that ppl who own 360s are more likely to buy games than ps3 owners which = more money for me. If someone is dumb enough to come into a game store willing to drop 500 bucks and doesnt know WHICH system he wants, it's just an opportunity for me to make money.
