It's pretty easy to see that M.ACC DOES affect QD. Every single COR that isn't shit has the roll. Rather, no one has actually tested just how much it affects accuracy compared to AGI. Hell, I'm not even sure if anyone tested how much AGI affects QD.

MACC testing is the most horrible testing in the world, and COR AGI vs. MACC should stay at the end of the queue. RDM BLM SCH first.
That said, I really do believe COR QD is affected by MACC because elemental staves clearly decrease resist rate for it, and elemental staves either give a MACC boost or a straight -resist%, and I strongly think it's the former.
Much appreciated on the advice on alternate kiting paths for Gration. I'll be trying again shortly when I can fit it in.
Nice info. Definitely going to try some of the stuff in here when I finish grinding through COR. 72 atm.
solod Anantaboga last night. overall easy fight. only hard part is the pull. you have to pull the darn thing across the entire map just so that you have have a safe fight.
i went /nin for the sole reason that i didnt know quite what to expect but, honestly i think you could get away with /blm or /rdm. if you go /blm you would need to bring sneak/invis pots so that you can get it to the kite camp. things that can be annoying with the pull is the Dahak that stands over the ??? and the wamoras that fly around the area you need to run though.
once kiting, try and stay no less then 18' away from it. horde lullaby caught me 2 times but, luckly i have crimson pants and could quickly run away after getting hit once. fight took roughly 1 hr, maybe just over.
i used ice shots and was doing around 305-330 dmg depending on my wizard's roll.
The dahak is actually a lot easier. First off, he never, I repeat, NEVER loses aggro. This means you can run across the zone to the kiting area, take a 5 minute break while he slowly walks to you, then come back to your computer and he'll still be claimed and walking towards you. The only hard part about the pull is getting some initial distance away from him, and even that's not too bad. Also, if you stay further than 25' away from him, he'll try to buff himself instead of lullaby or virelai.
Where do you kite him? The naziburn camp with wamouracampa/penguins?
around the penguins
cpl of questions. i just recently got cor to 75 and want to eventually solo fort, but am going to use some of the lesser znms to practice with. my first start was going to be chigre due to desire for the blood ring, and low zeni cost. first off, when you refer to the square shaped tunnel, is that E/F-7 on 2nd map? (directly N/NE of pop) secondly, i use windower, and would like to see exactly how to setup macros so that i blink all JA, so if someone wouldnt mind giving me an example like line by line that would be great :X. and finally, how do you proc the uggy? is it kinda like sorc ring but you can just macro out mp? (i know sorc u have to macro out hp), or is it proced just by dumping mp via cures or bio or something?
sorry for so many questions, just wanna do this right XD
1. Yep, that tunnel
2. bind ^6 input /equip head "Corsair's Tricorne +1";input /equip ring1 "Emerald Ring";input /ja "Water Shot" <t>
Greatly simplified because I didn't want to clutter the post with all gear swaps, but you get the idea. Put all your gear swaps first, then the shot, with no wait time. Same for phantom roll and all your other JAs. Don't try to shoot twice in a row without blinking back to idle/kite gear between shots.
3. For pendant, just spam all your mp on buffs/cures before you start. Normally I like to get refresh sanction for bio2, but chigre runs too fast to bio, so don't bother.
I didn't see it specifically mentioned, but Chigre is super resistant to Earth Shot, I didn't try Thunder, but just try to stay away from those two when doing it.
The 20~ times I've soloed Chigre I just stick with wind shot. Auster Staff gives some extra agi+ boost.. and I'm hardly ever resisted.
Side note though.. does Chigre just naturally take less magic damage? Or am I just losing it? I always feel like my damage is super low on him >_>
kerb how did u get the dat for the one ss on ur website of the taru cor with the bazooka at khim lol i wants :3
Solo Ugg Pend NM alot for cash easy ass fight but one death can easly be a pain, makes me 1-2 Mil week if drops go nice.
hmmm i looked on there and didnt see, ill check again when i get home.
i meant the taru with big black gun
QD dmg is incredibly easy to calculate. Shoot something for 10% more than you're supposed to? It was a magic crit.
That all said, I've never tested it myself, simply stating it really wouldn't be hard to prove.
I'm well aware of how easy it is to test, but the tests I've seen thus far have never shown a Magic Crit Rate proc. Given the low proc rate it could be a sample size issue, but since this person is telling us to use Wise Strap I'm assuming he has some proof that it works for Quick Draw.
I've kept wise strap equipped for God knows how long waiting for that 3% to kick in. I've yet to see it happen. :-/ And that's with literally thousands of quick draws. After soloing tons and tons and tons of things as Cor you would think by now I would have seen 1 Magic Crit hit. Alas, I haven't..
Also, to the guy quoting his personal best damage :< This is mine.. god how I need Novio/Nimue's Tights.. (also this wasn't with an XI roll)
