You know, that looks a lot less catchy of a title than the last thread.

Yes, I know someone made a post about this in the other thread, but realistically speaking it's unlikely as many people would see that given the thread was effectively dead, and talking about another tournament.

Although they missed the mark on finishing all the FF games on the last marathon, they managed to pull off 50,000 dollars in donations anyway, which was an incredible number. This time around, they're raising money for Earthday.net, and hopefully they'll put out a really good number this time as well.

I've never really seen a full-through speed run on any of the classic games, those should take under 2 hours each if done right, correct?

The world records for speed on those early games is usually around half an hour. So I'd hope they can do it under 2.

Battle Network 3 can be pretty long.
Network Transmission can be decently long but if you abuse Guard chips its easy as hell and much faster

I played the Gameboy megaman games only and this will be a great opportunity to see the other ones being played as I haven't had time/chance to check them out.

But also double yay to see people chatting about random stuff and doing potentially random/crazy stuff. Good times. Can't wait until it starts.

I actually wish they did have the gameboy games on the list, they probably could have used a super gameboy to port them to the snes.

But the resolution on those games was always....limited.

Holy crap this is today. Damn, time flew by really fast. I still remember the last day of the FF marathon.

Anyone know on estimation how long it'll take them to get to X (main series I want to see).
