RevolutionLS - EU Endgame/HNMLS

Hi all! Well, we are a new HNM/Endgame linkshell, admittedly formed from the remains of an... unpopular old one, but under new leadership. We are just looking to carry on what we did before and just have fun doing events! We have a solid core of EU and NA players but need a few more to get more done.

We are NOT an elitist LS and everyone is considered equally. If you have no endgame experience, that isnt a problem if you are willing to listen and learn

Also, we want to try some new things, experiment with jobs etc. which could be fun ^^

We have a fair drop system (fairest I have seen or heard of anyway) and also monthly payouts of the LS bank to all members. Everything is visible to all members too, so there can be no complaints and people always know where they stand!

The Linkshell is a democracy, leaders are there for guidance but the members run the show

JOBS: At the moment, we are flexible on what jobs we will accept.
TIMES: All events are scheduled to start at approx 7-10pm GMT (2-5pm EST)
EVENTS: Einherjar, HNM, Dynamis, Limbus, Sky, Sea, ZNM, SCNM

Well, as the founders of this ls were members of ML/Toki, that should answer few things, but again, under new leadership, we are nothing to do with either of those LS's, just making it clear to people from the start

Well, we are still building at the moment, which is what this post is for. We killed lolNQBehemoth twice though, which our site doesnt show, but unfortunately didnt manage to claim KB when he finally popped.

Still been doing events though, a couple of dynamis, limbus, an einherjar (only T1, still looking for members), built a kirin pop (not bought, we need things to do! lol) and farmed some sea. All in all we done ok for the few days we been going, and finding members isnt easy with so many people having quit FFXI for Aion or other games

How many people do you have so far? I know you are bulding but if you want people to move servers to join you then you should be trying to impress us with what you have accomplished in x amount of time with y amount of people IMO.

We are now closing in on 20 members, although some are in the process of switching servers, so can begin to put those numbers up. Kings are out of our timezone now, but Tia/Cerb/Khim can be focused on for the next few days until kings are back too. Will keep you posted then ^^

edit: Toki's members weren't bad for the most part. Too bad all of their leaders were douche bags. They claimed like none other for the most part (nasa on kings).

Not that there's any originality left in this game, but talk about fucking laziness. Shit like that should be huge red flag to anyone considering spending (throwing away) the $ for a server transfer. It's possible Daz sold them a site, since it is something he built custom for FFXI and could have cloned (it is an extremely good portal for managing an LS)...but wtf at not even coming up with your own LS description.

Yeah, Dry-Root are good friends of ours, one of their longest serving members is the son of one of ours, lol. They helped us make the website and it still needs a few personal touches, but yes, we are very similar to them just on another server. The description fits us too and also, their ls works well from what i have seen/heard. Seriously, why do people have some problem with people being friendly with other linkshells?

Nah, Daz is a long term friend of Savagee, one of our main members and allowed us to use the site.

Can people not please look for drama and make assumptions? By all means ask a constructive question like the first post after my initial one, but if we dont affect you, why bother trying to knock us? We're just trying to enjoy the game and do what everyone else is

lol, you think that's bad? We had a LS on Caitsith that copied our entire recruitment app at one point, down to every last word.

Seems to happen a lot...most of those shells don't last all that long it seems, though.

If you were lifting a site design from my friend and former LS, I feel it does affect me to some degree. As I said, I knew it was possible Daz had provided it to you guys, but even that being the case, I still think it's kind of questionable that you wouldn't create unique language & content for your own site. I know first-hand how good the functionality of his site is, as I also talked with him about using it 6 months ago for a Limbus shell I never got off the ground. But if I were looking for an EU hnmls, why should I go x-server to you guys, when DR also has open recruitment and you just seem like an start-up imitation of what they've already been doing successfully for awhile?

I'm obviously not saying it in the most constructive manner, but if you want to attract solid players, you should realize that they will make those kinds of determinations and you should want to set yourself apart from DR and not look exactly like a carbon copy of them.

Take that however you want, it's just an honest assessment. Good luck with your recruitment.

Well, your opinion is welcome anyway when you put it like that. But anyway, from what i can gather, Daz and Savagee are still working on the site, so much of that may change, we just dont have anyone who could make a site that good in the LS yet, so its a great starting point. We also have a seperate forum, and whilst that is based off of a template, I have spent a lot of time working on it, however its the in-game work that people should care about, not aesthetic things like the look of our website... just my opinion anyway.

Anyway, what do people want? Us to spend a few weeks making a brand new site from scratch or us to be getting on and killing things in game? I've been asked for both, lol. Nah, more opinions are good, lets us know what to work on, and thanks to everyone for your wishes of good luck, same to all of you ^^

Edit: Still looking for some whm and sch, and a few assorted other jobs, or you could go to Dry Root if you prefer ^^
