I just joined here... not exactly sure if this is the section in which to post this, but I looked around this section and saw some similar topics so decided to go ahead and give it a go.

Anyways... I am here to warn the people of Lakshmi (possibly other servers aswell), of a player that has transferred there from Seraph. The player has changed it's name during the process, but when it was on Seraph, it was named Kailee.

Now, Kailee, has had her reputation for a while. The beginning of this probably spouting from an event in which it claimed it was hacked and robbed of everything, then asked for people to help it with gil/items. Some people went along with it and helped it out, shortly only to discover that it still had everything that had been previously "stolen". In the end, it made off with gil and gear, along with all the things that it had prior to this whole little shin-dig. Some people claim it's BS, others claim it's truth. The real answer, lay shrouded in the fog of drama.

Fast-forward to about 2 weeks ago. Kailee, tells me that it is leveling DNC and that it doesn't have some pieces of gear that it needs to continue leveling. It asks to borrow my Scorpion Harness and some other misc. items, and promises to return the items. My brother, who has known Kailee for a long time and considered it his friend, says that he trusts it with the items and tells me that I shouldn't be afraid to lend the items to Kailee since they only amount to about 400-500k in total. I reluctantly agree to lend Kailee the items and trade them to it. 2 days later, things look fine... no worries. Shortly after, though... Kailee vanishes from Seraph and is no where to be seen. I give it the benefit of the doubt, and decide that it is most likely due to personal problems (or so I thought.)

Fast-forward to last night. I say to one of Kailee's "RL-Friends" that I am looking for it, because I need my SH back for ninja. At which point someone says, "Kailee jumped servers this week."

At this point my face is basically like this: :rocl:

A couple of minutes later, this sudden discovery sparks a discussion. Apparently, Kailee took some other things with it before it made the jump to Lakshmi (according to some sources).

I am not positive on the items, nor do I know the exact amount of their worth. All I know is that I am disgusted that someone would burn themselves for a measly 400k worth of items . But, Kailee did... so consider this and please take precautions with any new people on your server, Lakshmi. Kailee has changed it's name (I'm not sure to what), but if it's any help, it is a hume female (Black Ponytail, I think it's 2B?) with a few jobs leveled (nin, rng, sam, etc) and it likes to wear sunglasses with KO when in town. The easiest way to determine who it is, is the ever-so annoying macro that it used during PT's on samurai ; "Oooooooohhhhh I'm Comingggg (Meditate)!!" Also, it has an LS named, "Umbrella Corporation".

This thread is not for me to cry in, or for me to get any pity (I already bought another SH and replaced the other things I lost.) This is to give you all a heads up, that you have quite the little con artist over on your server now. Kailee, does not care who it hurts. Kailee, does not care who it steals from. It will play you for all it's worth, and screw over the best of friends. Please, do not make the same mistake I did (let's face it, I was an idiot to do it in the first place, but I was trying to help someone out ) in trusting this vaginal excretion.

People lending out items then not having them returned is not exactly something new.
While I realize the good intention, its more important to realize its not the individual, these kind of people will just always exist, everywhere, you can't warn people of them all. Especially with name changing/server transfers now. It's like trying to warn people not to fall for infomercial scams or pyramid schemes. Just use some common sense.. if you're going to lend out items/gil/etc or even worse give out pw to your account, you take all responsibility period.
