Thread: New NM's?    

I'd usually call total bs on this kinda stuff, but someone posted on KI about seeing a new NM in Castle Oztroja. Apparently it was a silver Yagudo called Warder Partisan. Someone also claims to have seen a "Wandering Footsoldier" in Ghelsba, looked like a black orc similar to the ones in the WotG trailer apparently. Neither of the people who claimed to see these posted pictures of the actual NM, but the OP showed this:

Whilst it doesn't look shopped to me I realize it's a possibility. Someone also posted this conversation with a GM (in a seperate thread) saying this update was "preparing the community for the new expansion":

Anyone else encountered these or similar NM's? Possibly a Quadav one?

Calling BS, unless POIDH, i do know SE at least ninja injected some NPCs in cities (at least in south sandoria).

A simple look at the dats shows that they do exist <_<

So it would seem all 6 dungeons have a "Warder" mob.

If they do exist maybe they're spawned by people fishing and depop shortly after the person stops? Aggro and kill any lowbie fishbots in the area and leave the parties alone. (Maybe they could have done this with Bounty Hunters and not screwed around with VD/QI exp parties?)

This update seems like it is definitely setting up to lead into Wings. The same way sentinal npc's began appearing at CoP's end. There is now an npc in each nation that will speak about the great war.

Checking .dats it looks like there will also be a pre-WoG event.

It wasn't out of place, I confirmed it myself. The person must have never noticed it before.

I'm willing to bet the mobs weren't supposed to appear, and are actually for the event GwynPlaine mentioned.

i think the fabric of Vana'diel's space/time is tearing at the seams causing these guys to bleed through every few hours (as they're doing).

It's very intertesting. Why do i think there's something not avatar related doing this too?
