Thread: Seiryu Issues?    

Just wanted to ask around and see if anyone else has seen what I've been seeing...since the version update, it seems like something is off about Seiryu, but the normal version and the Kirin mini. They've seemed to have a super TP Regain full time, spamming TP moves every 3-4 seconds even when they aren't being hit and aren't hitting anyone.

Has anyone else noticed something like this over the last week?

Fought it last night, nothing different from any other time.

Hmm, maybe we just have run into some crap luck then. We'd never had a problem with Seiryu pre-update, usually he's dead in a few minutes, we went out with the same group that usually smokes it post-update and barely won both times. It really seemed like he was spamming TP moves more than any of the times I've fought it in the last couple of years, but maybe that's just b/c he was alive longer than usual.

We also had issues with Kirin popping minis much faster than normal, that combined with the Seiryu deal wiped us on a run.

As far as limbus, we also wiped to Temenos C2 last night(rough week for us...), Shiva was using Heavenly Strike, which I've never seen her use in Limbus before, hit the PLD for 1500~ and a SAM for 1900+, 1-shotted them both. We got back up and went after Carby, and he double-attacked at an insane rate, Hundred Paws ftl.

Heh, a few weeks ago I would've thought the same, but when your LS is down on #'s and you have 18 people tops in Sky, and most of your DDs are SAMs which just got nerfed a bit, it becomes a little much. Challenges are nice, losing trigs to a possibly broken mob isn't not so much. On the plus side we've been lucky as hell on Despot the last couple of weeks, so I'm not going to complain about Sky too much.

Only thing I noticed that was different from any other Sieryu so far, is that the one I fought 2 weeks ago did not two-hour. Wasn't zerged or anything, we were there with 12 people.

Thanks, I'm actually the RDM/BRD/COR, maybe it's just been luck but I'd just never seen her use it before, much less wiped to it...I think we're going to just do it so we end up fighting Ifrit or Titan next time. We were a little low on #'s and I was COR instead of RDM, was the first time I think I've ever done it w/o Slow II so I guess that could have had something to do with it.

A combination of laziness, temporary lapse of higher brain functions, and never having died to Shiva before. I doubt we'll be testing her again.

Killed him last night, saw nothing too unusual. Thought I did make the comment to myself at the start of the fight that he was being a little meaner than usual. But it wasn't anything that really made me think about it too much.

Yes, some people do still actually do Sky, despite it being ancient. Most of it's done for Kirin sets and LS bank subsidizing, some people in the LS still need a few God pieces here and there, a few haidates and whatnot, but we need about 3-4 W. Legs for PLDs and myself for other purposes. Personally I'd rather do Einherjar, but having a hard time rounding up people to do it.

until SE actually releases gear better than b.haidate; there will always be people who do sky. (same could be said about wyrmal legs and osode for pld and rng respectively.)

I noticed it also when it was shadowbinded and it spammed Wind Wall 3 fucking times before it broke...
