Thread: [Cerberus] Ronalas (BC)    

I remember his gear sucked, but that was a long time ago (my own gear wasn't impressive either), and not exactly a reason not to accept him.

He's been in more LS than those two, guess he only put the most notorious ones. Don't remember any drama associated with him.

I have no idea what jobs/gear Ronalas has now, but he's not a recent server transfer... he's been gone from Cerberus since the Sept/Oct '07 timeframe. He was mainly RDM and leveling BLM last I saw him.

Prior to his departure, he did some events with my LS for about a month... some Dynamis and a handful of Limbus. He was pretty nice to me personally at first, but kind of a doofus in general.... most of us speculated he was high all the time.

I don't know the quality of his play, because I'd never put him in my parties at events, but I'd imagine it was substandard. He liked to be late to events, or pop in and see "what was up" and come if he felt like joining.

One of these instances in particular was a normal Limbus event... he popped as we were gathering and decided to come with us. We were a bit late as it was, but waited for him anyway.... only to have him disco in Jeuno, so we took off without him after waiting about 7-8 minutes.

We get to Sea, kill the NM, and then are getting ready to enter when he comes back on saying "wait up, wait up" ... to which I reply, "sorry, we're running late... maybe next time." Little did I know, but this polite comment was met with a barrage of /tells from him about how I was doing him wrong and how he "sees what kind of LS I run and what kind of person I am" blah blah blah.

Worse yet, his obnoxious wife/girlfriend Giya starts sending me /tells too about how it was rude not to wait for him and all this other B.S. I finally told him he's welcome to come to events with us but he needs to be on time and to stop acting like a victim. Apparently this isn't something you say to an emo-kid cause he wouldn't let it go and kept trying to convince me he wasn't a victim, lol.

Long story short, play ability - probably bad... promptness - definitely bad... intelligence - low level... emo factor - extremely high.

Definite avoid... especially if Giya is still in the picture, then it's a serious GTFO and /blist avoid.

I was in a lowbie LS with him when I first started to play. He always nice to me whenever I happened to talk with him. He was very aloof though, played off and on from what I could tell and had a pearl to a few different shells. He was also a part of my CoP static for a very short time but we ended up going ahead without him since he wasn't very reliable. At the very best he'd be more suited for a social shell, and in my humble opinion not worth pearling to a do-it-all HNM styled LS.

Well if you keep him and he sends you a /tell one day saying something like, "Oh man, your LS is so great. Do you mind if my girlfriend joins?", your answer needs to be hell no. If you're lucky, he'll get pissed and leave.

Not like is hard to get (farm the pop items for zmitts or pants, but lol at giving them stuff so soon >.>

It's a new LS. Someone's gotta get something.
