Of all these zones it seems the starter nations are now just one zone, the Beastmen fortifications will be closed on launch of the expansion and possibly the northlands? (id find it hard to believe you could walk right up to the throne room from the jump)
Vunkerl Islet = possibly Valkurm Dunes?
Oh well... i'll sit and wait for the expansion to unveil itself![]()
Vunkerl Islet is a small island below Quifm (sp?) Island, but above Jeuno. It looks a lot like the woodlands, with the addition of giant gateways. No doubt the home of the Giants =DOriginally Posted by ronin sparthos

Sorry for the poor photo, I was tring to sneak pictures when the SE officals had their backs turned =D
Pull WAY back from your screen and read the top line, it says "Vunkerl Islet" as the zone name.
And there is no Jeuno? (was it created after the war? I need to check Elmer's forum)
And I see nothing that could be in Tavnazian island? I so much want to visit old Tavnazian city we can see in opening movie ><;
Jeuno was around during the war, it was attacked and the allied forces of Altana fought to keep it from the beastmen. It had to be around because... thats where the Archdukes called the leaders of the nations to create the very allied forces that protected the said nation.
I don't know about Jeuno .. the bridges will be there, I belive they were destoried to keep the armies from moving world wide. I said Jeuno as a refrence on the map, so you get a visual clue.Originally Posted by Hadibou

these npcs are found in north gustaberg... any of those names look familiar, or are they just mercenaries?
Ah new zone Vunkerl Islet is, thats kinda cool. I still wanna know where Valkurm Dunes is in the past now then
On those npcs:
Lhu Mhakaracca - is the original wielder of the Guttler iirc
Several of those names are Relic weapon holders, mercenaries I'd think.
Oh yes I forgot, the Northlands ARE in the expansion, while I didn't get to see them are are labled on the new-conquest map thing.
Remember they mentioned that some areas won't be available until later on into the war/expansion. Giddeus, and Fort Ghelsba they specified. So I'd assume those are only the zones available now, while there will still be other zones available later. Probably northlands, beastmen strongholds, and who knows where else. I'm pretty sure they stated Vunkerl Inslet was west of Jueno as well, South of Norvallen and north of Derfland.
Anyone find Lynx or Smilidon in DATS?
Interesting... Castle Oztroja and Beaudeux are on there, but no Davoi (Not sure if this would have been an Elvaan or Orc settlement at the time?)
No Tahrongi, La Thiene, Konschat, or Valkurm though. Perhaps Grauburg, La Vaule, Fort Karugo-Narugo, and Vunkurl Islet take their place? Don't really know how you'd travel around otherwise.
Isn't La Vaule old name for Davoi?Originally Posted by Solarus
I seriously hope all zones are connected between themselves, and that we will not have to exit by Cavernous Maw to return to present, then enter in another Maw to go to another zone... ><
SE said explicitly that you won't have to.Originally Posted by Hadibou
La Vaule = Davoi, no?Originally Posted by Solarus
Gigas come from out of the Middle Land map. EDIT2: But it's entirely possible that Gigas currently live[d] there (like you said).Vunkerl Islet is a small island below Quifm (sp?) EDIT: Are the areas undernearth La Vaule/Beadueax/Oztroja the Magicite areas in the past? (Monastic/Qulun/Altar)
Btw, where did Taj get this information? Region map or auto-translate or something? I expect to find a couple new areas once the physical expansion comes out, probably to house some battle systems.
I doubt they will add more, they always add every place holder in the first update before the expansion. Would be weird to make another update in 3 days to add 3-4 place holder names.Originally Posted by BRP
Yes, "La Vaule [S]" would be the zone in the past. While it was an Elvaan village, before being taken over by Orcs near the end of the war. Probably why they changed the Davoi map as well and added more landmark names.Originally Posted by Hadibou
