    When does WotG go live?

    I'm bad at math/timezones and stuff. So is the game going to be playable on Wednesday the 21st here in the US or Thursday the 22nd?

    It depends what time on the 22nd JST it goes live. They're 14 hours ahead of us EST at the moment, so if it goes live 11/22 between 00:00 - 13:59 JST (Wednesday in Japan), it'll be live here between 10:00 - 23:59 EST on 11/21 (Tuesday in US).

    Yeah, most likely same as last time (around 9pm EST on Wed) and I'll once again be stuck in Dynamis when they activate it;;

    Pretty sure ToAU went live around 7 or 8 PM EST, so I assume it'll be the same thing Wednesday. I'm sure Monday's patch will clarify it all.

    How can they not? No one will want to do anything dealing with pre WoTG content till Monday at the soonest, at least in my LS.

    Shipping Tuesday in Japan is Monday in the US.
    No, shipping Tuesday in Japan means shipping Tuesday everywhere, it's just a little later due to the globe turning. Also, stores here said they're getting it on Wednesday, not Tuesday. If it's live before Thursday SE will have fucked up.

    Never underestimate the collective stupidity of a linkshell.

    I joined my very first endgame shell just before ToAU (maybe 2 months). I was kicked within 2 days of ToAU release as I was caught acquiring BLU and testing it out while they continued with daily sky.

    They decided the fact that sky would be empty (and well, they had a point, a blind monkey could have claimed Old Skool Ulli those first few days) meant it was actually better to continue with endgame than to stop. They only cancelled sky on the evening of the activation patch, due to the fact no one could get on in a timely manner. I was one of the many people who had to finish the patch the next morning. When I logged on day 2 (which technically was <24 hours from release) they were in sky.

    No loss, they sucked and broke over drama within 2 months.

    Well, obviously, people won't cancel HNMs for WotG, but I'd hope most LSs would explore the new content after Fafnir pops and skip things like sky or dynamis for a day.
