Wow, your server had it easy. Verms were like 20 on bahamut. 50s for haub +1, 16ish for nq SH.

But this year I'm not so sure. SE's been owning a lot of gil holding accounts and such, the delivery box nerf bottlenecks distribution big time. Etc.

I would say no. There was some gil dupping last years iirc (didnt SE had two maintenance for that?), and there was already some serious inflation going on during the whole year. Gilseller bank also got busted a couple of times, so they probably dont have as much money avaible.

SE pretty much nerfed every way to make money from vendor, so there is almost no money getting in the economy


There might be some inflation, but I doubt it will be anything major.

I hardly doubt that we'll see the economy balloon up as much as it did last year.

with any luck it will i made huge gil last year cuase of it buaght 15 or 20mil worth of smn gear in nov resold it after cristmas for over 150+mil =)

but then agen i did lose 110mil in feb or around then when SE started the bannings prices droped so fast sucked but worked out in the end was lucky enogh to have 40mil cash left i haddent spent yet but might suck this time around dont have shit to sell this year lol

It wont happen again. Gil duping isnt a huge problem and even if it happened again SE has safeguards in place to prevent it from becoming a problem. This economy wont get that bad again, ever.

Another reason last christmas was a shocker, is because it got everyone by surprise. Everyone is expecting it now so it's not going to be anywhere near as harsh as before.

RMT crews are definitely hoarding cash/items. If IGE goes on a christmas spree, I expect a whole shitload of gil that is locked up on RMT accounts to flood the market. But it won't last because the overall supply is way down from last year.

Also, I think a lot of people are bracing for a flood and thus there will be a lot less fools subscribing to the greater fool theory

simple fact this game is not as popular as it was last december will keep it from being near as bad.
