no. wrong. I'm not going to download it, since I want it to be a ps2 experience. I want to spend my 100 hours playing it on my TV where I can actually see all its glory.

I don't get what you are saying. This is the EXACT same thing that will be released in NA in one month.Originally Posted by Lbelle

What do you need to do to burn it so PS2 reads it? Asking in general, just gonna wait till it hits stores as im playing Disgaea2 atm.
I hear it's the nuked yankee beta.
Well first off my computer freezes alot so I wouldn't want to lose any data. Secondly, I don't want to play a pirated game. I hate computer controls for video games that aren't meant for computer (i.e. emulator games). Third, I've waited what, 3 years for this game? I want to play it on my PS2, the way it was meant to be played. I intend on wasting my life for a couple weeks atleast on it and want it to be safe on my memory card so I can go back and do other things!Originally Posted by Moochi
I'm not saying PIRATING IS BAD RWWRAWRR. I actually think this is really fucking cool, and a GREAT find! I just would prefer to play it on my PS2!![]()
You can d/l PS2 .iso and burn them so they work on PS2, save feature and all.
I never did it though, did it with PS1 though, PS2 was too much of a hassle (guess not any more though).
Ahh, I see. It's really common here that people put chips in their machines so they can play mainly NTSC games. With these chips you can also play back up games (ie burned games). PS2 costs about 150 bucks here and to buy/get a chip installed it's like another 100 bucks.
I am playing it on PS2 now in other words. 8)
Ah I see. I didn't know you could do that!Originally Posted by Moochi
I don't have a pimped out PS2 though, just a normal one. How is it so far? No spoilers przzz

Intro breath taking! Have only gotten past the introduction where they show you how to fight etc so I can't say much yet.Originally Posted by Lbelle
That's an option, cheaper but not as convenient. I know some of them also requires you to pull the DVD-sled out with violence which can dmg it (atleast the old PS2). Think there's some which you actually replace the PS2-shell so you open it from above.Originally Posted by Demosthenes
Chips also have more functions and you can update the firmware incase they add different kinds of protections in the games.
EDIT: Actually, that's something I havn't seen before. You can upload things to the an HDD and run it on the PS2. Could pretty much put all your PS2 games on an HDD and never have to change discs.
Yeah it also does not void your warrantee, and I don't ever have to pull my tray out. I load it from the HDD the same way FFXI ps2 players load their game.Originally Posted by Moochi
