my job so far usually involves like 2 hours of hard work > 3 hours of down time > 2 more of work > go home an hour early

This is basically what I do except with less hours of work on a lot of days. If we only count the hours I actually am doing work, I can't even imagine what my hourly wage would look like.

there were 6 people, they fired 3 of them and told me and the remaining 2 they'd rather pay us 40 hours a week to sit around for 15-20 of it than risk paying us part-time and us finding other jobs

In fairness I don't stay on the clock if I jerk it at work, I at least stay the length of time that I spent fapping late after work
