I bet this guy has a wide stance
I bet this guy has a wide stance
watching the vid, the guy sounds even more of a douche.
He probably shouldnt have said what he said the way he went about it (ie calling them fags, etc)
HOWEVER, he is entitled to his opinion, whether or not the liberal media thinks its ignorant to be against homosexuality.
I don't condone the homosexual lifestyle, but I'm not going to go out and call everyone who is LGBTQ a fag or talk down to them.
This is pretty much the "I'm sorry I was caught and received a shit-storm for this" defense.
By the way, it is wrong to be against homosexuality. It doesn't make you ignorant, but it does make you mouth breathing piece of shit.
"I have strong beliefs about homosexuality, but I don't judge anyone. But do they seriously need a "coming out day"? If it's about being bullied than nerds have far more of a reason for their own day"
- Friend about our "coming out" speakers we had on the library lawn on wednesday
I told her that the fact that she questions why they felt they needed to have events like this, is judging, then she stopped talking to me.
Technically, nerds and gays (or people who are perceived to be gay) are bullied for precisely the same reasons.
Well, it shouldn't be "well this is more important, so we should do neither!"
If they really feel nerds have a better reason, then both should happen. And that is to no fault for gays actually taking a stand.
I wouldn't say they are bullied for precisely the same reason though. Both are bullied for being different, but only gays (out of the two) are bullied over religious ignorance.
