You're right, my first statement was imprecise:
I should have said that fundamentally/essentially/most importantly, gays and nerds are bullied for precisely the same reasons, the reasons being gender. This way, i wouldn't have gotten into this absurd argument over meaningless exceptions and technicalities. Yes, nerds might be bullied for reasons different than the ones gays are bullied, but my argument is that the factor that overlaps the most and is most important is gender.
I mentioned same exact reasons without taking into account particular factors for one group or exceptions because i consider these exceptions trivial. These exceptions and particulars will continue to be trivial because nobody has yet conceptualized what they are and how they work precisely. The alternatives have remained ambiguous.
That is what was annoying me: lazy counter-arguments mounted on technicalities. Well of course there must be other factors, it's too bad that they don't mean shit.
