iirc, best buy discount is cost + 10% on an item.

Not so good on things like Ipods where they are sold already at cost +10%.

But things like cables/accessories are where that becomes a huge difference.

Before my husband left there, he bought a fuckton of HDMI cables incase we ever needed them. think the ones he bought sell for like $50 each, and he got them for like $5 each.

When I worked there 2 years ago it was cost + 10%. Didn't really save shit on big ticket stuff like TV's, computers, game consoles but saved a fuck-ton on accessories. $100 monster cables cost employees like $4. Loaded up on cables, blank DVD's, etc. before I quit, actually cost less than monoprice.
