    in here defense foreign exchange students are pretty much forced to go to private schools. (this one is a christian school btw).

    In order to go to public you need a different type of student visa which is harder to get, and you cannot go to it for more than 1 year (she came for 2).

    On top of that, a lot of schools won't even accept them because they don't have an esl program for them.

    You do realize you're complaining about private schools indoctrinating children, while at the same time you're indoctrinating her, right? Saying "This is the worst thing about Americans" is pushing your agenda on her; as much as you may disagree with Tea Party people, that's what they believe and it's honestly up to her to decide whether or not her ideological views are aligned with them, you, or otherwise.
