Like I said earlier:

Starting now I disabled requiring a valid minecraft account to log in because it seems that's what caused most of these connections issues.

The problem with this is that any shady/hacked account and even banned ones can log in the server and shit everything they want.

Enabled minecraft.net authentication again. If shit is lost I suppose Chrian could restore them from the backups: http://mine.bluegartr.com/backups/

Expect many invalid server key crap when trying to log on the server until minecraft.net authentication servers are fixed.

Gonna try to apply this unofficial fix later: http://support.multiplay.co.uk/index...server-key-fix

Meanwhile: "Unfortunately we are not aware of a Vanilla fix for this issue, but you can circumvent it by continuing to reconnect to the server until your connection goes through."

Yesterday I logged in at my little area and the big wooden place near me (-30 -400 ish iirc) was burning. Got over there just as it stopped.

It's a swath around spawn. the cottage up on a spire was burning, the huge wooden building in between two mountains was burned.

Is this normal; Zombies out during the day in the sunlight, but only burst into flames once they load onto your screen?

If they loaded during nighttime and someone left the chunk I think they stick around.

That's how minecraft always work; a section is only active when someone is around to see it happen.

Go edit your BG forum profile and put your minecraft username in it, may take about 1 hour to update.

Done, absolutely no rush to get me whitelisted though. I can't play much at all from where I'm at and Minecraft without HD textures makes me want to murder a puppy.
