That giant floating island hovering over my castle is an eyesore! At least I can mine it for dirt and cobblestone which I shall be needing mass quantities off.



And thanks to Chrian moving it closer to bedrock, I can tear down the bottom left section and recreate it without worrying about hitting the height cap.

A personal appeal from Psion:

I really don't mind if someone needs a few blocks for something. I don't even mind if they use my facilities without asking: heck, they're there for people to use.

But please, please, don't take my enchanted pickaxes and stuff without asking me first. I had 2 or 3 diamond pickaxes enchanted with efficiency IV and unbreaking III in them, and they are all gone. That sucks. Those took me 2 hours to make, and I use those things to make my base building go quicker, so you guys have more farms and facilities to use.

Please don't raid my chests without asking, unless it's for common materials and small amounts of it, or leftover things from the grinders like spider eyes, string, bonemeal, etc. That's all I ask.

That sucks man. Love your contraptions, they help out the server a lot. Those shovels I made are amazing for my project.

On a side note, I was BSing some last night and asking around. Does anyone have a clue how to get animals to stay inside their damn cages? Mine all keep getting out at the front side where it is glass blocks and doors connecting to my hallway, but not through the iron bars separating cages from other cages.

We should use the No Fire Spread mod here. Would alleviate random thunder burning shit down or griefers attacking the mothertree.

Only problem i could see would be we couldn't set fire to trees to clear the leaves, and possibly any other mod that changes fire to do other things. (in BTW for instance, one item is a hibachi, which is basically a netherrack you can turn on or off with fire, and is the only fire lit item that can withstand a bellows blowing air on it to stoke it, which is needed to fire pottery and render certain materials. fire from any other source gets blown out.)

I'm not sure how many mods alter fire, but it's a possible concern. I'd personally rather we had that one mod that lets you "claim" an area so no one else can modify it or something. This would hopefully prevent TNT griefing as well as fire torching.

the thing with mods is though they break every update unless they're maintained to no end, thats really the only reason we do not have them. Pisses ragns off when people drop support, and updating every update over and over again.

So like, I realize people don't go to the skylands that often, but seriously, that doesn't give you the right to fucking steal and grief peoples places. I went to go pick up some stuff out of my island, and me and Mots noticed someone stole all the diamond out of my double lava circle thing.

It's SITTING on a fucking diamond mine you lazy fuck D: Now I'm going to have to fix it when I eventually connect my island to the nether.

Here's a big FUCK YOU to the person who stole the diamond and filled half the circle in w/ cobble/dirt to do it.



Edit: it's only happened within the last week, cause it was fine the first time I came to pick up my stack of lapis and diamonds in my chest. Those Melons weren't there either. Neither was the chest down near it.
