Actually, each level of respiration gives you 15 seconds, and 1 additional second between drowning ticks. That means a respiration 3 helmet gives you a full minute underwater breathing time, and 4 seconds between damage taken while drowning. :3

if your especially lucky you'll get aqua affinity I on it too, which makes your underwater digging speed at least as fast as aboveground... possibly faster.

I couldn't tell with my efficiency pickaxe if it was faster or not but it sure seemed like it lol.

He is. So am I. There's more to survival than just mobs... there's also environmental damage, starvation, and random acts of god (lightining strikes, ninja zeb attacks)

And don't forget mobs are getting AI overhauls in the next update. They're getting quite disturbingly smart with the pathing AI...

i have 3 of the water affinity/resp helmets. they are amazing for doing underwater stuff that i do haha.

I shoulda gotten up earlier lol, finished jinns , and porting shintas castle over gonna fufill the two people who pmed me then give tyramut some endporta blocks because my version of mcedit doesn't have them yet <_> and gonna do enchanted tools tomorrow they take a while lol and I'mma just flatten my area and put chests each day seems too many chests beyond the hundreds lags mecedit so today will be a couple hundred + double chests of pure stone so useful shit tomorrow will be same amount in sandstone.

has the map been updated yet? Wondering, cause I'm in the grinder getting exp, would rather not spend a lot of time to get enchantments to lose them a bit later.

lol map updatehasn't happened yet. I'm still finishing it up

also I add the boat in when I decide to add in the airship into a fleet over mybase XD

also creepers and shit will still spawn in theboat unless it has sufficient lighting I mean notsure if monster spawner monsters can spawn with light around
