Minecraft Beta 1.3
* Implemented a new lighting engine with the help of MrMessiahs (can be turned off)
* Changed the options around, added a new “Graphics options” button
* Added beds. If all players in a map sleeps in a bed during night, the game immediately skips until morning
* Added three new half-size blocks
* Added Delay/Repeater redstone dust blocks
* Added whitelisting to the server. To use, enter “whitelist <cmd>” where cmd is “on”, “off”, “add <player>”, “remove <player>”, “list” or “reload”
* New save file format, old maps need to be converted (that might take a while..)
* It’s now possible to have more than five save slots, and to rename saves
* Scrollbars in both the texture pack list, and in the map selection screen
* Replaced the Mojang splash image to reflect the new logo colors
* .. and a bunch of bug fixes and tweaks!

Reading through update right now while waiting around for server update. I've had a minecraft buzz all day thinking about wtf to do with my island and thoughts of getting mob rushed by invisimobs D:

One thing that is good/bad is that logs on fire now go out when you leave the area as I had several fireplaces in my base just disappear after lighting them.

Bad news is that I burnt down half my base because 3 blocks above a fire is no longer safe apparently.

Taking forever to convert the maps especially the orignal one.

Of course hMod is broken so no more /home for a while.

Typing anything into chat, even normal text, crashes the game and gives an "illegal characters" error. Also, beds are pretty sweet.

I found a public vanilla server and I keep killing this guy that has a hitler skin. He chased me for a good 20 minutes to get revenge and then I just logged out. hahaha

Edit: I shall taunt him a second time!

Looks like I'm playing offline for awhile.

The current mine2 map is fucking BRUTAL without /home. So many lethal caves, lava, death drops, etc. I love it, but only when I can hit my /home macro on a whim when something is about to rape me. >.>

If you want to see mobs easily use hit F3 to show the debug info. All mobs got a numeric value above their heads now. ;/
