Sandstone slabs are possible.
Sandstone slabs are possible.
Too bad Sandstone Slabs visually turn into Sandstone Blocks when they are stacked.
wtf really? I hate the way wood slabs look too, there should be a smoother looking wood block you can get by upcrafting wood somehow, that'd be fucking sweet
With like a varnish or stain applied too it?
Yea like wood plus slimeballs gives you varnished wood, stone slabs plus slimeballs give marble (shiny)
I also want a way to craft 9 redstone into a blcok to store them easier
Have you guys seen the IndustrialCraft mod yet? It basically HUGELY expands the crafting system, addings tons of new recipes and materials, some of which can do crazy stuff like lasers and rechargable batteries and objects that can terraform the environment. It seems like it's a little over the top but it might be fun to play with one day:

That is a LOT of stuff. I would probably like that mod a lot if it were on a multiplayer server but single player minecraft isn't fun for me at all.
holy fuckballs thats alot of stuff to craft I want a diamond DRill
pretty sweet, what texture pack is that?
also is that single player or on a bg server
Its the Albion Texture pack and its on a PVP server that Jinn and I are screwing around on a bit.
nvm

Also I need a way to render this that won't take 20 hours.
2 things in unrelated news:
1) I've found a pretty neat way to make sure you grow big trees, you can plant a sapling then place a 3-block high stack immediately next to it. Then spam bone meal on it, it'll consume one bone meal but fail to make the sapling grow. I assume this is because it's trying to grow the tree but if the space that's going to be occupied by leaves is already occupied, it won't grow the tree until one large enough to fit grows. You can, of course, do this the old fashioned way and not lose out on lumber, but it's a lot faster this way.
2) They really need to make it that bone meal makes grass grow instantly on dirt, as long as there's enough light. I really hate trying to make rooftop gardens and having to wait hours for my dirt staircase to get grass up there.
Perhaps seeds (from tilling grass) should plant grass on normal dirt (and wheat on tilled soil).
