Most map tools crash when loading the BG maps.

Mots, what texture pack do you use? You probably answered already but eh.

try cutting the map into peices, like make a new map and copy some chunks over or something see if you can peice it up

I change map packs just about every other week. The pictures above were all with "John smiths" though.

ok so yeah, the fix you have to do for pressure plates so they work with double doors is fucking dumb...

I am honestly not that excited about maps unless you can mount them on the wall to display them

Not being able to fix up my double doors to open with 2 pressure plates (one will close when you stand on the plate) is really pissing me off. Having 1 door basically for show is one of those things that people visiting your world would never notice, but you see it every time you walk by.

Is it really that hard to set up a minecart system with boosters/powered rails now? That's pretty much all my world lacks, and im tired of walking 5 mins through the nether to get between settlements.

Actually, does anyone know if you can remove a nether portal and rebuild it somewhere else? I kinda want to move my portals closer together but I may be not understanding how portal linking actually works...

I thiiiiiink it's something like any and all portals that are within the same 16x16 chunk area in the normal world will link to the same portal in the Nether.

ah ok that's what I figured, I guess it kinda serves me right for building my 2nd town so far away. You can make minecart systems in the nether though, can't you?
