I already posted it in the youtube thread, but it deserves reposting here. We need to do something like this on the BG server.
Wow... it is stuff like this that just keeps pulling me back in to Minecraft and keeps me thankful that I paid Alpha price for it.
wow! totally awesome.
Is there a thing that allows you to see your whole map? I had this map I was working on for a while and I died and I could never find where I ended up making my house thing and it bugged me. Is there a way to find it or anything?
Server has been down for a while...at least for me
are you ready for pistons?

awww yeeeeah
shit's gonna get weird with those.
If anyone needs eggs... Just come to crossroads station at 870x, 250z and check the chests in the central room outside. <_<; I sorta stole a few stacks of eggs from random houses to start a chicken farm, but now I got over 4 large chests full of eggs and growing now for anyone to come snag. Just leave one of the chests full so I can restock the chicken farm and get tons of eggs again.
Eggs for everyone! \o.o/

uh... wtf, how?
Oh i bet that sounds pretty awesome in there...
Throwing an egg has a small chance to spawn a chicken. More chickens = more eggs = more chickens. It's like magic!
How many chickens does it take to crash a server?

I wanna log in minecraft just to find that pit.
Lol, the pit is still up so you can check it, im at the bottom <_<;
It's kind of ugly though, since I had to waste like 6 stacks of eggs at start to figure out a combo that DIDN'T suffocate all the chickens eventually, then find out the exact size... Made it too big and they all fell down cause water didn't reach the center, etc...
Finally hit a working combination though. It can hold about 200 chickens or so before some start randomly suffocating from getting pushed into walls. The server seems to lag, at least for me, when holding this many though. Sometime's its fine, sometimes I have to wait nearly a minute just to open a chest and dump my eggs in it. :s
Reminds me of the first BG minecraft server, I made a mineshaft straight down and for some reason pigs were drawn to it. I'd be mining, and atleast 15 pigs would fall to their death during the day. I eventually put glass over the top and if I looked up it was just covered with pigs.
Log off for an hour, come back to find my mineshaft full of pork.
Animals are smarter now, they don't jump off ledges unless they're chickens or its only 1 block deep... or if you put a sign on the side of the block. Then they merrily jump to their death. :O
Monster's also follow the same behavior till they aggro you, then they don't care where they're going and just jump off to their doom.
