Yeah, without any kind of movement hax or mod, you realistically will never run into the limitations... which makes me want to put some sort of ultra-fast flying mod and leave it zooming over the landscape for a week, and see what happens to the terrain generator when it starts glitching out.

I think something like 12,000,000 meters to the "far lands" where the lag becomes so unbearable that it isn't even worth going out there. As long as the server can support the file size of the world, keep building as much shit as you can think of.

My first base near spawn was looted long ago, and since then was looted so badly even the chests themselves were taken.

My second base is the one with the giant Kuno sign. All my sand/dirt/stone/cooked stone is gone. As well as all my mossy stone, wood, dyes, cloth, etc.

If the last time you were on was before the griefer, then I'm not surprised your stuff is gone.

So i've been playing on my Single player map trying to get lucky on a slime spawn. Nothing yet, but according to the Minecraft Wiki, it says Slimes can spawn on peaceful mode, Is this right?

Either way, I'm digging a tunnel so long Its bound to have 1 area slimes can pop.

Which brings me to my next quesiton, Anyone know the general size of a "chunk"?

Chunks are 16x16x256. Also, I have a chunk that I've seen slimes spawn in before, but they're only there about 5-10% of the time that I go down there. You'll have to check a lot.

Okay So Chunks are basically 16 wide, 16 long, and 256 high?

Okay, A lot smaller than i thought, Thats good to know actually. I'm just going to dig a long fucking 9x9x5 Tunnel and then line the 10th block on each side with glass, then the 11th on each side with tracks, and just go up and down the tracks until i see a Slime.

Hopefully I'll run into a slime chunk soon

Edit: Putting torches on the floor obstruct their spawn area? The guide said put them on the wall, wondering if theres any special reason. If torches don't, Could i just build a rail-line straight down the middle and slimes still spawn?

Slimes cannot spawn on peaceful, but they will not despawn if you change the game to peaceful. hence, why the illusion they spawn in peaceful mode since they don't despawn

None for me yet, My Tunnel is like 120 blocks long, Then i hit a fucking Nether-Sized Lava lake and gave up in that direction. haven't bothered building out the other end yet.

Walked up and down it a few times, nothings spawned. Been keeping the game on Easy just to see.

Some finally spawned in my underground area under my mob spawner <_<; had like 4 of em jumping around. Guess update fixed it or something.
