Can't wait for the ram requirement to triple, unless he decided to break the chunks into a 3-dimensional array now.

I'm hoping he thinks far enough ahead for that.
He said that the default is going to continue to be what it is now, but he is going to make it easy to edit the world file to allow for higher maps. So the ram requirement probably will triple, and only really be possible for those with powerful computers. Just my guess though.

Oh, looks like we're getting glass panes.
Also, I don't know if anyone had caught this from Notch's twitter.
Nothing too exciting - just posting what I've built in the couple days I've been playing on BG's server.

I find it difficult to express myself when I'm on the verge of exploding in my pants due to the potential awesomeness of the 1.8 update. This is more exciting than the secret Friday updates from Beta.
Hey djzombie, what texture pack is that? :O
server down?
Looks like Misa's texture pack.
yeah it is misa's
also - despite someone currently being on the server, i can't connect myself.
Calling dibs on Brazilian Nyan Cat since it will take a while to get all of that wool.
I kept working on that Connect 4 game and managed to get everything working (haven't put it all together though), only problem is it requires 16 or so sticky pistons (built this on my sever with TMI). It's a 6x6 grid but should be expandable quite easily.

EDIT:: Ok, that didn't go as planned, switch method doesn't work so I replaced it with 2 buttons and backed all the pistons with obsidian.

EDIT2:: Success, it's very messy atm but got it working:

Anyway, I'm working on v2 design now, a lot more compact and ordered, also is 7*6 which is the size of the connect4 board game.

make a auto recycler and a refilling mechanism.. so yyou wont have to refill it.
Impossible to do that, best I could do is a larger pit so you can dump more blocks. There's noway to automatically separate the sand/gravel back after it's been mixed up, not that I'm aware of anyway.
Just dropping in to say: Souj, I love the Boletaria recreation.
