It's near impossible to log into the BG minecraft.

Nearly impossible to log-in period. Couldn't even log into my private server since it apparently checks the minecraft server when I try to join it.

I think ragns can auctually delete our char data from his server. so that our inventorys would be cleared.

Having 100$/month to waste on a dedicated server could hold about 20-40 people on it.

I'm tempted to use my Mac to host a server to play locally on, not enough RAM in my main PC to play both the game and host the server at the same time. If I found an excuse to upgrade from 2gb ram to 4gb, Minecraft is it. >.>

Actually Minecraft doesn't use that much ram. Server can survive easily with 1gb of ram.

Eh I still have a problem with duping even the common stuff only because not duping it forces us to account for the impact our mining has on the area. We can make a giant fortress if we don't mine and flatten a mountain somewhere. We can't build things without moving and replacing what is already out in the world, and that kind of interaction is half the fun for me =(
