I fully endorse the "work up a chubby beforehand" method.
I can't stand being touched though, so I'd just go through the scanner and thrust my hips suggestively, I've got no issues with being naked in front of strangers.![]()

The shoe bomber and the underwear bomber failed for a reason - it was too difficult for them to bring their low-cost ghetto-rigged bombs onto a plane and still keep them intact enough to use. People see these incidents as a failure in security - I count them as successes. The third lesson remains constant: By the time terrorist plotters make it to the airport, it is, generally speaking, too late to stop them. Plots must be broken up long before the plotters reach the target. If they are smart enough to make it to the airport without arrest, it is almost axiomatically true that they will be smart enough to figure out a way to bring weapons aboard a plane.
There's a substantial difference between having no problem with being naked out of one's own volition, and being pressured into nudity. I don't give a shit how much you love being naked; that argument means shit when it's not an issue of free choice. And before anyone mentions that it doesn't literally show you naked; shut up, i know.
The issue is, and will continue to be about whether these methods are truly necessary and if they are worth the costs in inconvenience and violation of privacy.
Felt like I was reading a porn at one point.
Spoiler: show
btw I'm trying to find a video of the new enhanced patdown (the have a small clip of it on Colbert Report tonight) but holy fuck it's ridiculous. I mean they're basically cupping and lifting women's breasts to check beneath them, and they'll be moving/lifting your junk to check your crotch if you're a guy. The video is actually a little uncomfortable to watch and I look at porn for at least an hour a day...
Wasn't there some guy from either Germany or Israel who proved these things don't actually prevent anyone from sneaking tons of shit on board? It was in an article I read a week ago in the paper, where the guy went through one, they found a knife and gun on him, but didn't detect the 4 containers of chemicals he had on his person which could be combined into a bomb.
TSA is the biggest joke and waste of money there has been security wise. Nothing has changed since the TSAs inception except for a bigger headache when flying. I was talking with a person the other day who does security checks at airports, which entails him going through security with a fake bomb, gun, knife, etc. He said over the month of october he did it 12 times, and of those 12 times, 10 times he got through security.
At one of my previous jobs part of the job was to administer IT tests for Prometric and VUE, and we later gained a TSA contract. You would not believe the people who came in and took these tests. facesofwalmart.com? Yeah, those types of people, and you know what? I never saw anyone fail those tests either.
Thanks America, thanks TSA, I feel so much safer knowing im wasting my money on this POSs, and that theyre the 'frontline'. Seriously, get rid of TSA, or actually put some effort in to it.
Just wear a chastity device. Either they will rush you through or give you a full cavity search. Depending on your kink or sexual preference, it can be a win win situation for you.
Oh you have a choice, alright. You can "choose" not to fly, or that's what they're saying.
They're trying to protect our American freedoms! Can't you see?! We need to be free of the fear of being blown up on a place! If it takes us having to deal with the fear of someone behind a monitor eying up all of our naughty bits to do so, then so be it!
FREEDOM.
Fuck this Big Brother bullshit. This is going down a very slippery slope, and if anyone can explain to me how this shit is Constitutional, I'm all ears.
I'm more than happy not to take a plane. I'll strip for a doctor, no problem, because it's my choice. If I were to come across this, I'd go straight for the pat-down.
Above post... yeah, FREEDOM! My sentiments exactly.
Well, this is what we have until someone can sit down and rethink security that will both keep us safe, preventing bombs and weapons from getting on the plane, as well as make the flying process smoother for the rest of us.
Does anyone have any ideas for a better security model, emphasizing safety while allowing for more comfortable experiences for everyone involved?
"Any society that would give up a little freedom to gain a little security, would deserve neither and lose both." Ben Franklin
more like "any society that would let government employees stick their fingers beneath their balls and boobs has already given up freedom entirely"
No, a society is free as long as the market is free. Political freedoms are secondary, or irrelevant if they get in the way of economic freedoms.
Wow, I never knew that. *Rainbow*
A bit off topic maybe, but I wonder if you added together all the time people have lost due to extra airport security in the past decade, how many "lives" have been wasted.
