    XLGames has already started fixing these in one of the clients (not sure if it's in the Russian or Korean client). Since the NA/EU version is a fork from a few releases prior to the current Korean build, they need to implement those changes on the NA/EU version as well.

    That being said, enjoy this footage of 2 people wiping one of the zergiest guilds in Alpha

    I know I've posted this before, but the info has been out of date for some time. So this is the most up to date info I can find.

    In ArcheAge Class Trees are called Schools. There are different kinds of Schools, like Fighting, Crafting, Gathering. Then under Schools you get the Jobs.

    Fighting School

    The Fighting School Jobs

    Artistry - This job is for those who want to be a Bard type player. Mass debuffs (used to control the enemy), enhancing buffs for allies (they are massive beasts), indispensable branch for tech support, good passives for enhancing abilities of this tree.

    Calling - This job is for those who want to be a Rouge type player. Instant motion, go behind the targets back, excellent offensive skills, and self-buff passives to maximize the chance to kill the target, the ability to disappear from sight of the enemy.

    Combat - This job is for those who want to become a Warrior type player. Single\massive attacks, specializing in weapons, fast movement, pulling the enemy to itself, reinforcing self buffs.

    Will - This job is for those who want to be a Paladin type player. This tree is specialized to protect the player, avoid attacks, protection against debuffs, increased HP, teleport short distances on the battlefield, has skills for mass immunity to magic for the party/raid.

    Devotion - This job is for those who want to be a Cleric type of player. A huge set of spells to save the life of your allies and the target, massive spells and self buffs, passives to amplify the power of healing magic.

    Wild - This job is for those who want to be a Ranger type player. A tree for archers, a different set of offensive skills, debuffs to control the target, and self-buff passives to reinforcing possession of ranged weapons, can tame animals.

    Fortification - This job is for those who want to be a EQ's Shadowknight type of player. Debuff skills to control the enemies, excellent self-buff active and passive skills, aggro controlling, temporary invulnerability.

    Magic - This job is for those who want to be a wizzard type of player. A huge arsenal of mass magical attacks, a nice set of passive skills that increases magical attacks.

    Conjury/Illusion - This job is for those who want to be a CC mage type of player. This tree contains single and mass debuffs (silence, roots, sleep, etc), self buffs, player can pretend to be dead, for those who are want to control (CC) their enemies.

    Death - This job is for those who want to be a Necromancer type of player. Black magic (there Vampire), to control the enemies with debuffs (lard, paralysis, telekinesis, slow), enhance magical critical rate.

    Defining your Character in the Fighting School

    - There are 10 jobs in total under the Fighting School from which you are able to choose 3 jobs which will define your character, resulting in a total of 120 different class combinations.

    - Each job has 3 trees, every tree has 11 active and 5 passive skills, so each class has 33+15 aka 48 skills ready, from which you can chose 23 skills which will define your character.

    - Every skill tree has its own level, they are levelling same as the character does (level 50 is the max), and also all the skills have level requirements (depending on the skill trees level and not on the characters level).

    Here is the list of the 120 class combinations under Fighting Schools :

    http://img3.mmo.mmo4arab.com/newforu...2485189580.jpg

    http://img3.mmo.mmo4arab.com/newforu...2485197197.jpg

    http://img3.mmo.mmo4arab.com/newforu...2485255737.jpg

    http://img3.mmo.mmo4arab.com/newforu...2485265778.jpg

    Passive Skills

    The way to choose passive skills have been redone, now its impossible to choose all the passive skills from a tree without taking on any active skills. In order to choose the first passive skill from a tree, the player needs to have 1 active skill chosen from that tree, to unlock the second passive skill you need to have 2 skills selected from the given tree, for the third passive 3 skills, for the fourth passive 5 skills, and if there is a fifth passive then you need to have 7 skills selected from the tree in order to be able to take that passive skill (this doesn't mean all 7 skills need to be active skills, passives count into this too).

    Example:

    http://savepic.su/2229157.jpg

    Combo Skills

    Skills have different results depending on what buffs are on the player or debuffs on the target. Some of them have been changed, and many new combos have been added, now almost every skill had 2-3 combos, and a few even have 4 combos.

    List of Skill Combos (Russian Version) :

    http://archeagegame.ru/media/k2/gall...stov111900.jpg

    Other Fighting School Info

    - Players may choose 1 job at Char level 1, a second at level 5 and the third job at level 10.

    - Each job has its own skills and level along with the player as they hunt, craft and quest.

    - Each skill has advanced versions and costs coin to improve as the job level increases.

    - Skills can be reset at a trainer, and will then cost coin to be improved to the job level.

    - Skill Jobs can be reset as well, starting L20 iirc, and will then default to L10 and the school will need to be revelled. For example a L50 player dump all 3 of their jobs for 3 new ones, although they are L50, their 3 new jobs are L10 and would need to be advanced through normal levelling, until which time the player would only have access to lower level skills.

    Skill Calculator

    Here is a new English Skill Calculator that has added all the new info and is up to date in the Fighting School, they even have the skill combos at the bottom ! Try it and see how you would like to Define your character.

    Ok Trion has gone ahead and changed all the jobs around, it's confusing as hell to me, so I am posting here so I can remember what the new fighting jobs are . To make matters worse Trion is now calling them classes...>.<

    https://www.archeagegame.com/en/#classes

    Artistry is now Songcraft
    Calling = Shawdowplay
    Combat = Battle rage
    Will = Auramancy
    Devotion =Vitalism
    Wild =Archery
    Fortification =Defence
    Magic = Sorcery
    Conjury = Witchcraft
    Death = Occultism

    Those interested in the game, here is a video that shows of each skill tree and each ability in game to demonstrate what EVERY ability does. So you can create the best character possible.

    Here is a player on the alpha server that is lvl 50, and has been going on a ganking rampage killing lvl 30 players of his own faction. He got a bounty on his head and when he died he was sent to jail. He then went to trail and was found guilty and sent to prison for 586 mins. That's almost 10 hours !

    In Archeage you have to be logged into the game in order for your timer to tick down, so he pretty much screwed himself.

    I'm really not interested in MMO PVP anymore, which i hear is the main focus of AA. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

    I'm more interested in the class building, exploration, and group PVE play. Hopefully those are not a letdown.

    I'm not gonna lie, Archeage is about as pvp heavy as it gets, it belongs with UO and EVE as the guilds break into actual player factions and politics and war for land grabbing begin during end game. But as a PVE'er there are ways to avoid PVP, whenever there is a war declared in a Province after an hour a peace period is declared, where no PVP is allowed at all. This is the opportunity a PVE'er can go into a province and explore or get some needed xp. So as a PVE'er you can stay in the safe area's and venture out during peace times.

    Trion is changing the client, but it has led to some weird and funny bugs on the alpha server.

    I can't believe I bought the alpha pass.
    I'm diving completely into this game. I had 3 moments in the alpha so far that I want to share.

    Moment #1: (probably convinced me to play harder than anything else)
    I'm minding my own business on this beach. I think I'm killing stuff. Questing. Grinding. Something. Not important. There are 2 other guys on the beach too. Killing stuff. Probably questing.

    I'm taking in the scenery when I see 5 gliders come in with enemy colored names. They land and immediately start shredding the two guys that are trying to quest probably like... 15 meters away. I decide I'm not going to stick around. Call my rowboat, head out to open waters. I'm sailing away thinking, I'll just go around to the next beach and be fine. Phhshhhhhhup! I see a harpoon hitting the back of my rowboat. Rowboat stops moving. Rowboat starts to drag in the direction of the harpoon. I look and see a ship, one guy manning the harpoon and reeling me in. One guy on the wheel, steering. Three guys dancing on the boat. It's the 5 glider guys coming for me. I pick up my glider and fly as far to the beach as possible. They chase me. We chase for a good, 10 minutes. I'm sliding down hills, using my glider at the last second, trying to cut corners. I finally make it to a camp where there are a bunch of level 50s and they cease their chase.

    Moment #2
    Witnesses: Abandon and Charismatic
    I'm looking for things to stea--pick up from the ground that no one needs. I see a patch of some sort of garden that two people are picking from. I decide I'll just let them be and go to find some other stuff. Chari (or Abandon, I can't remember who) tells me to turn around and make sure it's the owner.

    Well the plants are on cooldown (some not fully grown) so I read the name on the plant and hover over the two people. One is the owner, one obviously isn't. So I approach and the one that isn't stands up, heads to the nearby cliffedge and goes 'Have a good evening'. Leaving the owner of the plants to respond with a '...'. I take a good look around and see footprints--EVERYWHERE. After inquiring about it, the owner told me that the person had arrived and stolen almost all of her crops right while she was picking them (some just simply pulling them up before they were ripe to pick)

    Moment#3
    I'm gliding along, looking around at the zone and I see a bunch of ships in the distance. I figure, why not, I wanted to take a look at these ships (they looked cool) and got close. Turns out there was a seige going on and they were trying to destroy each other/their ships/the people. It looked intense and insane. I kept my distance but still. That moment was pretty spectacular.

    My body is so ready for the game!

    Looks like you can capture world bosses to use as combat pets.

    I've been moving to the fence on this game recently. I really want to like it, but for whatever reason I don't feel like I fit in in a big guild, and not having that will make the many pvp aspects pretty rough. And I usually don't have much time so I level slow etc.

    that UI looks like a carbon copy of RIFT's. guessing they're using it as a base for localization?

    I think it seems so because of the font as it really seems to be like in RIFT, but I think rest of the UI is just like the Korean version.

    I played the RU version a bit too hard. If I do the same with the alpha there's no way I will have interest left after the testing wipes. Currently I am casually messing around on the alpha server and working on the game's Gamepedia.

    I really can't wait for live though. I already have my characters planned.

    If you feel like doing something different and want to RP, you can become a musician. A musician can put on performances for others and play music for money.

    Composer is a crafting skill that leads the way for the player to act as composer and write and sell their own music. Basically, you collect all the required items (something about fish sperm...) and craft music paper. A few more things are involved, but that's the gist of it.

    You start with notes A through G and you can transpose those notes up or down with the parentheses symbols. Next, the letters by themselves are quarter notes, but putting in certain numbers shortens the note duration (ie. a pitch letter followed by an 8 makes it an eighth note, a 16 makes it a sixteenth note, etc.)--larger numbers mean shorter notes. Punctuation also increases duration, or at least the period does.

    Or if you have an old Guitar Hero guitar , you can use that to play your own music. So there are some experimental opportunities you could explore if you so desired.

    Here are some expert musicians

    Perform for others and make money !

    Kind of funny how the video's load frame is on someone being hard to kill when Arc Lightning is currently bugged such that it ignores MDEF.

    Have fun with that one.

    I'd only play if I could do nothing but be a farmer. From level 1.

    Or a bodyguard. As in, actually getting a paycheck to stand there and guard someone's farm.

    Farms are our lifeblood, people. Without crops, nobody eats!

    I vaguely remember in one of the streams, they talked about how one person completely ignored the first quest and level completely off of farming and crafting.
