Scaling is the following: 1 Credit = 0,005€ or 0,007$ [Calculated with the Amount on Credits from the Archeum-Founder Package, while I wait for the real currency scaling from Trion].

Also you get 5 Loyalty Tokens every day you log in the Game as an Patron. 0 as an F2P.

This cash shop shit is a real turn-off. I just want to be a PIR/THF though, so I'll still try it out. Not sure if that beta code I got from that store giveway was good as there is still no option for me to download the game and the code doesn't show-up on the shop's website.

To download Archage you need to download Glyph. If you entered it on the website it should show up in your library. If you're already downloaded Glyph then I dunno

Did you go to the account management page and enter your code ? Go to manage games and see if you have been signed up. Once the code has been entered you should have gotten an email with instructions.

I know absolutely nothing about the labor points system, but have read plenty of complaints about it. To put it into perspective, how much of it is a cockblock for achieving endgame activities? Unreasonable? Tera's enchantment-tier hell? Or just annoying for those wanting to spend the weekend clocking in long hours?

Trion is currently playing a proverbial game of chicken with this current labor system. I dont think its going to end well.

Even Korea and Russia didn't have all these things for LP. Trion is literately forcing FTP users to use the cash shop or buy a sub.

My tl;dr version of it is it's an anti-bot system that kicks legit players in the nuts.

Without a sub or whatever, they're basically encouraging people to idle online 24/7 just so they can come back and spend 5 points just to mine once, craft, ID an item, or whatever. And shit probably gets more expensive the higher you climb in tiers, I dunno.

I totally understand not wanting super rare items to be flooding the economy, but I feel there are generally better ways to go about it. I'd also gingerly urge that this is, indeed, a game, and not a second life, career, or whatever such systems emulate.

There are ways to get around the Labour Points. You can join a guild and the guild can pool the points together, each player helping out one another in the guild.

Or if your a solo player you can place a bed in your house and sleep on it, it consumes Gilda Stars, but you get 50 labour points per 10 mins if you sleep on your bed. If you get a more expensive bed you get more labour points back. If you don't have a house you can always share a bed with someone else.

That's why it is always good to be a cat girl in this game, other players always want to share their beds with cat girls........

Trion threw away any chance this game had to do well. I heard Rift has a great F2P model so it's kinda weird they ruined this so badly. Went from being the one MMO I was genuinely looking forward to to an absolute joke. It even costs labour points to report bots, holy fuck! Even subscribers get something like 5x less LP than P2W players every day. This is a game I would have been more than happy to support but Trion are a fucking joke. Can't wait to see this crash and burn.

Agrred Kiarax. Rift is probably the best F2P out there right now ( get full access to content and such and most souls for free sans the ones that came in the recent update and SL). Currently
playing Rift now and having a blast. Was looking into Archeage but now
