With perfect temper it would be 450DPS according to archeagedatabase. Also angry faces...

Korean streamer showing off exactly how P2W AA can be. First using what I guess is Heroic T8 (hard to tell with that quality and everything being Korean),which is somewhat attainable for the average person after grinding a couple months, and then a full Mythic T9 set in 1v1.
Enjoy. I sure did.
Oh yeah also....
FUCK YOU TRION!
Apparently you can´t even say that on their forums anymore. Going all Nazi banning people for calling them incompetent. Also apparently banned a couple people calling them out in Faction Chat.
Fucking laughable. Sub running out on the 21st. Most likely won´t resub. Also....
FUCK YOU TRION!
Who the hell didn't know (not think, but actually KNOW) that the game would devolve into P2W? Christ. I'm sorry people who play it are pissed, but the writing was always on the wall. The writing will always be on the wall. Get what fun you can out of it and move onto the next Korean open world game.
Its not like they're getting tired of making them.
Sad to see it go this way. Unsure how much blame lies on Trion and how much lies on Korea. Don't know how much say Trion actually gets in release decisions. With how RIFT has been handled since F2P, it's hard to believe that they're largely responsible for AA's F2P shortcomings
Lol got a TS tree a couple weeks and been trying to sell it at its going price around 1200 but not getting into an undercutting war in /faction so it's been sitting a little. Today I get on to find they are 400 and dropping like rocks. Thanks Trion for dicking me over when I'm trying not to dick the market over. The interest is waning fastly...
Adding in Rumbling Archeum trees was the dumbest thing XL/Trion could have done.
The market is about to be completely FUBAR.
Thunderstruck trees are the new badge of YOU'RE DOING AWESOME! GIVE US MORE MONEY. God damn that South Park episode is spot on right now.
This also has the added benefit of tanking the archeum market.
I don't even know if there will be a game to go back to (or if I'd even want to at this point) when XIV progression slows down...
Yep, guess I'm just gonna have to wait for SWGEmu to finish up in however many years. They're announcing something big soon, some people are thinking officially moving to Alpha status, or maybe it's just Publish 6 but either way progress is still being made on that glorious project and they have around 1200-1500 people on their server at any given time.
I find it interesting how many of these emu servers are popping up for classic era MMOs and actually getting a solid draw of players. From what I have seen the more accurate classic experience the better. For example project 99 server consistently has 1000 people online, and is brutally classic to kunark era EQ.
They're often free, provide nostalgia, and generally make things easier than the vanilla versions of the games. Pretty easy to see why.
That's because most of those classic MMOs had a die hard group of fans that was completely disenfranchised by the publisher/developer whatever and this provides the ability to simultaneously say "Fuck you." to what's become to norm in MMOs/or to the publishers/developers that dicked them over in the first place, while enjoying the game they loved.
This post is so beautiful, a must read, will change Life™.

lol, i log in now to plant shit, harvest shit, and pay my weekly taxes, for no other reason than to make sure nobody gets my land. I could completely quit, but nah, i'd rather hold my 2 24's, 3 16x16's, 1 8x8 and laugh at all the people still strugling to "make it". patron runs out in january, that's when i'll officially stop checking in once a week lmao
I knew... I FUCK KNEW a korean MMO published by an american company wasn't going to work. I knew it from FFXI, from FFXIV, from Tera, from all the other shit I heard about lineage and crap. Games made in countries that speak different languages just don't work... there just isn't enough communications in a timely manner to address problems, and not owning the game fucked trion's reputation up hard.
I won't play another game from trion until it's been out for 6 months, and then i'll do my research and check out the forums before i make any sort of purchase. If it looks anything like the official forums does for Archeage, i'll steer well clear of it.
Sad too.... Game had alot of great potential
I'm keeping an eye on it in case it bounces back after trion catches this version up to the korean version. That will really be the defining point in this game, cause it's possible to turn it around after that point.
Also the consensus for the Rumbling Archeum Trees in the cash shop is now: It was a poor implementation, but overall the effects benefited the game. There are more people out on the high seas, which makes piracy more profitable, which is you know, fun. Crafting is more accessible to everybody now, etc.
It wasn't entirely a bad thing, but we'll see. I've stopped playing but I'm keeping an eye on it cause I want the game to succeed. If it doesn't then no skin off my back, but if it gets better than I'll sure as hell play it.
