to be fair i just skimmed the thread, i'm basing this off of the fact that it has two pages.

you skimmed wrong
but i put in some time telling it like it is
Well, at any rate, this day is reminding me that life is fucking terrible and you're all correct to hate it
I don't hate it, I just dislike it right now.
Skirkle what do you dislike about life?
Yes
Are you upset because you don't have an adequate amount of gold in your pot to hide under the rainbow you leprechaun looking mother fucker
Now that just doesn't make any sense at all
You look like a monster from Irish folk lore and you have an insatiable lust for jew gold
doubtful
You're not Irish, you're a monster that the Irish are aware of
lol
I have been on both sides of that coin and neither make you happy. I was at a point years ago where I was close to having 6 digits in my money market account, car paid off, a house.. you name it, but I was miserable and even walked that unmentionable path of "do I want to be here?". Now, everything with me on the personal was fine, still had a wonderful daughter, wife, we were going here and going there and flying all over the place seeing the planet as we saw fit, but there was still that "something" that was missing. When you're broke and down on your luck you just feel like you know what that something is, when in actuality you have no clue.
What people don't understand is they think that just because they have money and all their bills are paid that there is a sense of relief and less stress, which is hardly the case. There is always going to be something, not matter if you are rich or poor that you will long for, yet it is something intangible and faceless. Mo' money, mo' problems is as real as it gets. The pressure and strain of having to keep yourself from imploding isnt something id wish on anyone. And I know how this will read "Whoaaa is me bawwwwww" and the likes, which is fine but trust me, people aren't blowing smoke when they say that shit.
I'd much rather have my bills caught up and live middle class than to just be paid upon paid. Log on to FFXI and try to find new and exciting shit to do when with your 75 job, it sounds cliche and shit but its true. Its something youd just have to experience first hand I suppose, because rereading this it sounds awfully boastful and ungrateful.Trust me, shit is definitely far harder than it seems.
Ill tell you what though, it was nice walking into EB Games (at the time) and just saying "I want that, that, that, that, that and that" and walking out with 8 different NIS and Atlus titles.
Inb4 Domon suggests that was part of the problem.
i like having disposable income but i do not like where that disposable income comes from
