I spend no time at my place anyway aside from the occasional once every 2 weeks to smoke in my backyard. I need to go back for school but good lord am I trying to find a way to break my lease. I think lack of pest control may do it.

I would probably either live with my father or bunk with my brother, but if i did intend to stay there for longer or just get tired of the previous two, i might take you up on your offer.

That's kind of a problem for me. Going to school here would be best for me since the tuition is cheap and the education is great; i don't know if i could get as good an offer over there in NYC. I am mostly moving because i find that if i want to pursue any relationships with men i need to get away from my family here and move over with my more liberal family, and i also need to go into an environment where the men are at least not ashamed of getting involved with another man.

So far, that has been the biggest roadblock. Scenario plays out like this:

1- I like guy

2- Guy likes me

3- Relationship stalls as other guy will not pursue relationship with a man

4- Few weeks later, he shows up with a girlfriend.

I'm just tired of the disappointment.

My brother suggested that i go to gay clubs but once you do that, word gets out fast that you're going to gay clubs, plus i'm not the clubbing type of guy. It's been suggested then that i need to move to a place where there is a more sexually open environment so i have more options to mingle with people who are honest about their sexuality. So my brother suggested i move to NYC.
