AFC East: New York Jets (I still like this)
    AFC South: Indianapolis Colts (Yup)
AFC West: San Diego Chargers (Defense? What's that?)
AFC North: Baltimore Ravens (Like this too)
WC: Cincinnati Bengals (Fuck you Headspace)
    WC: Houston Texans (Maybe...)

    NFC East: Dallas Cowboys (lol)
NFC South: New Orleans Saints (Raise your hand if you're buying Tampa)
NFC West: San Francisco 49ers (I. Want. Winners.)
NFC North: Green Bay Packers (Yup)
    WC: Atlanta Falcons (Yup)
WC: New York Giants (Division or WC)

AFC Title Game: Ravens over Colts (Don't mind this pick)
NFC Title Game: Saints over Packers (Meh)
    Super Bowl Champion: Saints (lol)

Offensive Rookie of the Year: Ryan Mathews (Nupe)
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Rolando McClain (Not even close, but he's from Bama and picking Suh was boring)
Most Valuable Player: Phil Rivers (FUCK YES)

    5 Surprising predictions
    1. Kevin Kolb will not end the year as the Eagles starting QB. (lol)
    2. Vincent Jackson will play before Darrelle Revis this season. (Nope)
    3. Neither the Patriots nor the Steelers will make the playoffs for the first time in forever. (Not even close)
    4. Lovie Smith is the first coach fired mid-season. (Still waiting)
    5. Tony Romo will bang Kim Kardashian during the Cowboys bye week and immediately retire from professional football. (Could have happened, retirement incoming)
    Record:
    55-46 straight
    48-51-2 ATS

Tampa Bay at Atlanta (-8.5) - This looks like an awfully big spread between two 5-2 teams, but Atlanta at home coming off a bye is going to be strong. I think Tampa could be a playoff team, and they have Carolina and SF the next two weeks, but they're just outclassed in this game. Falcons win and cover.

Chicago at Buffalo (+3) - Shawne Merriman? Really? I'm sure he's happy going from the greatest city in the history of mankind to Buffalo. Like most Bills fans, the front office is apparently living in the past, and if they could somehow recreate the 2007 Merriman, they'd be getting a useful player. The misery continues upstate, as the Bears put together a good performance after their bye. Bears win and cover.

New England at Cleveland (+4.5) - This line opened at 6.5 and has been creeping south ever since. I guess the pros have made enough money with Cleveland covering big spreads. My Brownies have been playing really good football, and Hee-Haw has actually looked like a pseudo-NFL quarterback. Can Mangenius keep it up against Belichick? Not so much. Cleveland's secondary will be stretched all day and Brady takes advantage. Pats to win and cover.

NY Jets at Detroit (+4) - I was just stepping foot on the "Jets are the best team in football" bandwagon when they put together that suck-ass performance against the Pack. Following their suck-ass performance in week one, they came out and manhandled New England. I think Detroit has the unlucky task of dealing with an angry Rex Ryan, and both LT and Greene get it done. All I ask is one highlight of Suh pulverizing Sanchez. Okay, maybe two. Jets win and cover.

New Orleans at Carolina (+6.5) - The Saints shocked the hell out of me by pushing Pittsburgh around last week. Do they take it easy this week against a lesser opponent? I think they're tired of looking up at Atlanta and Tampa in the standings. The Cats will send Moore back out there again, which is good in the sense that he's not Clausen, but bad in the sense that he's Matt Moore. Fourth straight road team I'm picking to cover... ugh. Saints win and cover.

Miami at Baltimore (-5.5) - Interesting spread here. I think the Ravens will win this game, but Marshall against that secondary should be fun to watch. Two teams normally known for defense here, but I'm seeing lots of points and RayRay with a big day off a bye. I'll pick Ravens to win, 'Fins to cover.

San Diego at Houston (+3) - The Chargers, as bad as they've been, are favored on the road? Against a decent team? Two home losses for Houston already, as they can't seem to stop anybody on defense on their own turf. San Diego has been improving and got a much-needed win last week, but injuries are still a concern as Gates, Nannee and Floyd are all doubtful. I'll go with the Texans in the upset.

Arizona at Minnesota (-9) - Didn't like Favre to Moss? How about Jackson to Berrian! This spread seems huegliekxbox between two lower-end teams. The end has come for Max Hall Overdrive but that's not a bad thing. Both ground games should carry the day, with the Vikes getting the better end of that deal. Minnesota wins, Arizona covers.

NY Giants at Seattle (+6.5) - Another bigger spread than expected, as both teams have been good, not great. But Seattle has been strong at home, and the Giants have done just enough to win the last two weeks. I love Seattle ATS, but who wins... I'll go with my gut and the better quarterback. Giants win, 'Hawks cover.

Indianapolis at Philadelphia (-3) - Thought this would be a pick'em, but with Vick and Jackson back, I guess the experts are buying Philly. Count me out for now at least, and their schedule looks soft in retrospect. The Colts have looked just a touch off from their usual overpowering selves, which isn't to say they're bad, they're just not "the Colts." So with that in mind, and Philly getting healthy and after a bye, I'll take the Eagles to win, Colts to cover.

Kansas City at Oakland (-2.5) - GAME OF THE WEEK!!!!!!11 What the buttfuck happened to the Raiders? Campbell/McFadden/Bush looks like a decent backfield all of a sudden. Still, I'm buying KC, even after their "ohshit we almost lost to Buffalo" performance last week. The Chiefs offense gets uncorked in this one, as Oakland's defense has been playing way over their heads. Kansas City with the upset.

Dallas at Green Bay (-8) - "The highest rated passer in the NFL right now is....drumroll please...Vince Young." Oh Tyche, I lol'd. Can the NFL just let Dallas sit the rest of the season out? Still, the Packers haven't looked overly impressive, and 8 points is a pretty big spread for a team that only put up 9 last week. I really want to believe the 'Boys have something left to play for. They don't. Green Bay wins and covers.

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati (+5) - Watch "The T.Ocho Show" Tuesday nights on Versus! Steelers win and cover.

I don't think I'm just overreacting to last week, but that is as good a pick as any for SB Champ right now. The Saints defense has been SO much better than last year. They haven't been causing the turnovers, but they haven't really had to; they can just line up and stop you in 4 downs. They have had some of their best defenders go down and have still been playing well. Brees has been a bit off, but he can go on a tear at any time. Their main problem right now is the oline is playing like crap, but I am very, very scared of the Saints.

Did you see the Cleveland game? They got up for the Steelers and played pretty much a perfect 60 minutes, but I really haven't seen much of anything else from them that would convince me they can repeat. I'd pick about six or eight teams (including Atlanta) to win it all before N'awlins.

Nope, I missed the Cleveland game, although I fapped to the highlights. I just feel the offense can get right back on track as soon as Bush comes back, and I actually respect the defense now.

Moore has been decent in that hybrid role but obviously he's no Reggie. I think they're a playoff team, sure, but to win it all they had just the right amount of good play and luck last year. Just seems like they're slightly less good and will need a lot more things to break right this year. I'd put them as my 5th NFC team after ATL, NYG, PHI and GB (not necessarily in that order.)

The offense isn't rolling like it was last year, no doubt. But all of their luck last year came from all of the TOs they forced. I don't think their defense has to rely on luck anymore, and I think the offense can get rolling again. I'm not saying they are a favorite, just that if the offense gets rolling again they will do some serious damage. Easy upcoming schedule too.
