Plucking Wings [Bismarck]

This week Bismarck server has control over Castle Oztroja (S).
That means the Campaign Ops "Plucking Wings" is available until the next Campaign tally (Sunday morning in the USA).

This battle/mission is *very* rarely available (the last time I remember this being available, I was on Ramuh server in 2009 and we were all level 75), and one of the potential drops is the Roundel Earring.
Other drops include the Cuchulain's Belt and Karasutengu Kogake.

Even given the popularity of Abyssea and the concurrent decline in the popularity of Campaign, it's been surprisingly difficult to find players willing to do this Ops this week, even though it's only available for a very limited time.

At level 75 this fight was moderately difficult for 6 people. I imagine 4-5 people (potentially even less) can handle it at level 85. Would anyone like to team up to do this battle/mission today or tomorrow? You must have Campaign rank of Iron Emblem or higher, and be willing to switch your past/Shadowrealm allegiance to Windurst (if you aren't already allied w/ Windy). Don't you lose your tags if you transfer alliances?

Also, how the fuck, I haven't seen windy control more than 2 zones in as long as I can remember.

Lose 2 ranks if this is your second time+ changing to Windy from another Nation, first time switch is free! - maintain your ops credits

Bladefury is correct. There is no penalty for changing allegiance the first time you switch. If you are *returning* your allegiance to a nation that you used to be allied with, then you do sacrifice 2 rank medals.
Other than that, you do not lose rank, Allied notes, or Ops credits. If you've never completed the Windy [S] quest "Snakes on the Plain" then you would need to do that to ally with Windurst, but it's an easy quest.

Well, I assure you that nearly anyone can probably 3-man it at 85. The last time I did it was 80 with some friends. We were RDM/DRK, BLM/WHM, SAM/NIN, SAM/NIN.

I pulled on RDM, BLM slept the adds as I ran past, SAMs went to town. When he wasn't in Modus mode, the BLM and I were plenty for Stun. When he was in Modus mode, one SAM used Blade Bash too. I think it died after that. The BLM slept the adds initially and then once more when they woke up before the NM died. At 85, I'd drop out the RDM and have the BLM Sleepga, Haste, Cure, and Stun. It is really not a difficult fight.

It'll just get easier and easier the higher level people get and some of the gear is still worth it to take over regions for. Mostly just Sandy and Northlands but still.
