Everyone I work with goes through phones like water, this one lady especially. She has a new phone just about every month. And everytime she gets one she makes snide comments "still have that iphone I see" "are you still using that iphone" "you really still like that?" bitch you have a new fucking phone every month, shut up. Every day I see her taking the battery out and puttng it back in, typical verizon phone problems (think shes had just about every droid device verizon has) and these people always make comments about how great verizons service is in my area and how bad at&t is.
Thats what gets to me the most. I have never ever had a problem with att service in my area ever. Always full bars, I get reception inside jails and the basement of police HQ where I shouldn't, just like they do. It's fucking equal here... However, for the first time ever I did have service trouble this weekend. I was in NYC and was having trouble all day, the worst of which on stanton street. For the most part of the day I could use GPS ok, but out of the 500 wifi points sometimes they wouldn't work or pick up or anything. Stanton street I was completely dead of service, 3g/wifi/everything, phone was a brick. It worked better after rebooting but still, it was annoying. This may be that infamous too many hotspots bug that iphone4 had, idk, but it was annoying. This is when I would have rather been back on verizon.
I don't know if it was just my phone or something in my jailbreak that I did, or if other att users experience it, but so far my experience with iphone in nyc was not good. Pick your provider, play with said providers phones, pick one you enjoy.
