said dresden dolls, depeche mode, the new pornographers are getting there, bright eyes (oberst's new folk-thing is not nearly as high), the bird and the bee, harry chapin, joy division, jacques brel, louis xiv is pretty ok, radiohead is hard to hate, omg i forgot about sondre lerche (i wonder if he's made an album since like 04 when i got this shit), talking heads and oh i am sure there are more
