I remember from the presidential election showing Fox was the most unbiased. So it's fine to consider them unbiased, as long as you recognize that the others are more unbiased. Let's at least be consistent.

and then you remember that several tea party members just won an election, thus showing how many there are around the nation, as well as evangelist christians, then you recall the probability that a few people are on this site, and you basically figure there probably should actually be more right-wingers on this site

and part of me thinks the only reason Jon Stewart included Keith Olbermann in his montage was so that republicans might actually listen to the rally as something other than the rantings of another member of the liberal media, although I think that logic is pretty flawed too

Yeah saw that last night. Was loling the entire time. So much win in a short 5 minute segment of the show. I love the efforts that Stewart and Colbert made with this rally but thinking that the insanity is evenly distributed between both sides of the media cannot be any farther from the truth.

And yeah Atreides, thats mostly why Olbermann was included.

being a member of the tea party I think the idea of such compromise is revolting. I'd rather be righteous than right any day of the week

If you think Fox News is fair, impartial, and balanced, I challenge you to do the following thing.

Watch one hour Fox and one hour of MSNBC a day. It can be any program as long as they're equivalent in some way; i.e; if you watch O'Reilly, then you've got to watch Olbermann. If you watch the news, you have to watch the news. After each, go online and look up the facts related to each report. Note that facts cannot involve any commentators for either side; this can only come from accredited sources, like financial reports or the like. If you follow up on sources, you have to take note of every quote taken out of context or expert who may not actually be an expert in the field they were asked to comment on.

If you're willing to undertake that experiment, I will as well, and we can compare our results.

You can find anything on the internet. Just like the global warming crap. There is just as much evidence against it as there is for it.
