I added some more analysis for the pulse bodies.

Also, it looks like the Pulse weapons from Legion are a pretty low drop rate too. FFXIDB is currently at 1/359 for them.

If you do enough Qilins to get a Coruscanti, on average, you will receive 64 Heavy Metal Pouches and get 576 HMPs. You will also get 18k Cruor 1060 times, which is 48 million gil when converted. Farming one Coruscanti (on average) also finishes 1100/1500 plates for you.

To be honest, ~1/1000 on pulse weapons in the coruscanti tier (that literal tier of VW) doesn't seem too unreasonable. Think how easily you can spam 12 qilins now -- once you've done 100, that gives you about a 10% chance at coruscanti. These are fairly nice stats on weapons that are simply spat out of a box, so that should be kept in mind.

Although the sample size obviously is not anyone close to large enough due to the low drop rates to provide a reasonable comparison in pulse weapon drop rates between things like Qilin versus more difficult mobs like Morta/Bismarck, I wouldn't be surprised to see that Morta/Bismarck fall more consistently in a "less rare" 1/512 tier, as opposed to the exceedingly rare Jeuno mid-tier pulse weapons.

Coruscanti is approximately equivalent to a STR Thokcha the last time I checked, so it's not actually reasonable at all.

D49/189 delay
D47/190 delay, 11 STR (effectively 6 base damage because it's 3 on each hand) -> D53/190 delay
7.6% higher DPS for the Thokcha just looking at STR and base damage/delay.

5% Crit rate (<5% increase in DPS for most of the stuff dagger jobs matter for)
Severe Damage (if this is worth as much as Attack+22 I'll eat my hat, so I'm not even going to consider it)
15 DEX (Could give you some more crit rate or act as a Rudra's mod, but probably it won't give you both against most of the stuff people use dagger jobs for)


I'd use it against high level targets without a crit rate penalty if I had it (especially if I was getting buffs), but dagger jobs are horrendous against high level targets and it's not TK (and dagger jobs don't get buffs).

0.02% drop rate is legit to you? You must be that guy who's always saying "1/10 tocis, 1/15 Mekira, 1/5 Mala", so garbage drop rates clearly dont apply to you. Try being the guy on the other end of the spectrum, the guy thats 0/300, 0/400.

I came for the Kudzu, but can't say I am disappointed.
Considered turning it into a pulse cell too, for about a second, but I've noticed pulse cells are also quite hard to sell unless they're up in sets of 5.

Exactly why it would be a hard sell. Morta isnt exactly popular, so you might wind up pre-buying a cell, and cells 2-5 may never even come into existance. Its not like Mekira or Toci cells, which 1-4 probably enter the system every week.
