Hah! I wish! I might have been lucky getting Surcoat on the very first kill, but I'm not THAT lucky.

There's a PLD in my LS that is closing in on 0/1000 (no joke) on Ogier's Surcoat, and man does he hate my guts now. I would gladly give it to him if I could, as I don't play PLD except for when I'm goofing off in campaign or something.

Surcoat isn't really even good for much at all, if anything. I'd bet a ton of gil that said person in your LS is inflating that number greatly if they want something like an ogier's surcoat so badly.

Even if he is really going for the surcoat, its a 3 minute fight and it gives him plenty of chances at HMPs, cinders and some bor. cells, so time not completely wasted at least.

The only use I could see it used is a Hybrid MDT set aimed at keeping capped haste for the 2seconds you'd ever be in MDT.

I think it actually has some use in a pet haste bst setup if you don't have porthos. (without killer effects active)

Even if you were supertanking something nukey (so AF3+2 body doesn't give much -DT), Avalon is the same MDT and like what 1mil?

I've gotten a Surcoat once. Honestly I was sad because it cock-blocked me a money drop (That's all I'd do Ig-Alima for, gil and cruor (atmacite/brews))
