If ya'll want something different boil the instant noodles till al dente. Get a hot pan with a bit of oil toss in some fresh beef and pan seer. Should still be red inside. Toss in some veggies and quickly stir fry then toss in instant noodles and the semi-cooked beef. Toss in chili flakes, a bit of soy sauce & chicken broth. Enjoy~
Meh... if I have fresh beef, I'm not gonna be bothering with instant noodles.
Ramen + egg + blast it with sriracha + one soy sauce packet.
If I'm feeling fancy, green onion and cilantro.
You are all wrong, this is surely the king of instant noodles:

The bean cake in it...the thick noodles...om nom nom...
That bean cake is called tofu
But yeah, that shit is awesome, though I prefer Shin Ramyun's spicy ramen

Add some Sriracha and between heat and the spiciness, I usually can't feel my tongue by the end of the meal...and dread going to the crapper
So glad I know how to cook.
I bet this tastes a lot better than the instant noodles, but the massive upside for instant is that they are a no-think ingredient... usually when I go for them I'm just exhausted and, therefore, too lazy to bother with any kind of set recipe... I also don't have much room to roll out dough. When I get into my new house and have a bit more room, though, I'll definitely give this a try!
Instant Lunch forever.
When I was a kid, we moved into this big 'ol house and it had a boiling-hot water tap in the sink. Best invention ever for this reason.

This.
The fact that it's cheap is pretty much the entire point. There's no other good reason to eat gigantic salt bricks.
I usually saute, bake, or grill some chicken breasts before I make mine. Then I boil some stir fry vegetables (which are also cheap if you buy them from save-a-lot), add the noodles when the veggies are almost done, drain, add cut-up chicken breasts and then add seasoning packets. Usually it's two packs of noodles per bag of stir fry veggies and two or three chicken breasts (so that my meal is high in protein. If it wasn't for the weight lifting I'd only use one or two breasts).
This is usually what I pack for lunch on school days. It saves a lot of money compared to buying fast food on days where I'm not at home all day and don't have leftovers to eat for lunch.
that's p. fuckin' ghetto, even for you
and these aren't the 10 cent salt blocks, but i like to pick a couple up sometimesL

I dislike the brands Nissin and Maruchan. I think they taste horrible. I enjoy the Nong Shim, Sapporo Ichiban, and Mama brands.
But it's not tofu... it doesn't have the quality, consistency or taste of tofu D: The internets says it's called aburaage.
The real thing looks more delicious... http://www.justhungry.com/2006/01/imbb_22_kitsune.html
i can't eat ramen anymore for some reason. no matter what, I get diarrhea the day after

^ can't stand the thought of those ramen omelets, or anything that involves frying noodles, because I know I'd bite into one little bit of overcooked hard noodle at the edge and fucking gag. Nothing worse than burnt pasta/noodle. Also, people who bake lasagna/stuffed pasta/casseroles without completely covering every exposed bit in sauce so that it doesn't burn = rage.
