Best way to skill up synergy, other than building a time machine and not being lazy when it was first released and broken (skill up wise)

Been trying to just spam Hi-potions as i'm level 7 currently, but the skill ups are just horrible, would i be better off starting out with a level 10 synth instead? any sort of good progress tree?

Assuming Empyrean weapon, perfect gear and Atmas, full buffs, etc. Just my opinions, though. Also, RNG might squeeze in somewhere with Jishu's Radiance being 3hit crit mod, but I haven't seen too much testing on it to see how good it is.

Agreed, though I still think DNC and THF don't belong in the same tier.

Nitsuj: something like this is probably what you're looking for. Uggalepih Pendant/Artemis' Medallion as appropriate, and not 100% sure on head/body vs Teal. Everything else should be about right, play around with it and let me know if anything doesn't work as expected though.

Actually I would figure drg would come out ahead quit a bit assuming its not the only melee in pt and not primarily tanking since they can shed hate and necessarily worry about having to play as defensively as other jobs while still benefiting fully from VV/RR and being able to 5hit with capped haste still.

I am trying to login a friends account to get him to an LS event early. I have his login info on my computer and he has purchased all the expansions for abyssea, and has downloaded them onto HIS computer. My problem is, I can log into his account no problem but I don't know how to redownload the abyssea expansions that he already paid for. I need them to make it to the event. Anyone know how to redownload? Or if it is even possible?

So I found out hat SE added Regain to Blobdignag. We had a COR Pin + QD it, but he was still able to use TP moves. Does anyone know the *specific* puddles to fight him over? Or a new strat that does not involve 5+ people?

Go to Service and Support, go to payment information, go to edit, put in your information, ???, profit.

But really; I don't think the new expansions actually had a download per say? I thought they were just you got the reg code and it unlocked the content that should already be updated to your comp. So unless you haven't run a file check/update check in the past 6months you shouldnt have a problem logging him on

And it's one of the few jobs that can still benefit from using OAT if I'm not mistaken.

Synergy skill up is incredibly simple assuming you don't actually try to successfully make the item, and you can haste yourself. Best is rdm with composure haste then pick any synth with earth element to it. You can do rabao earring to 30 and then start picking up the nugget synths (silver nugget, gold nugget, platinum nugget, etc). The trick is to just spam the shit out of earth element and try to thwack explosions. As early as possible find a friend who has synergy skill and fishing (or 2 friends) and have them make you Fisherman's cuffs. They have a hidden attribute of "precision thwack" which makes thwacking much more accurate and skill ups off successful thwacks are frequent. In short, start synth>spam earth>thwack explosions>spam earth>it ends naturally>repeat 9409 times. You'll want to "merit" fewell feeding and safety lever. No need for thwack merits afaik if you have precision thwack from fisherman's cuffs. Also make your own earth fewell with stones from npc, it'll save you a LOT of gil and make it a LOT easier.

Platinum Nugget, level 70 synth. Skillups don't follow normal crafting rules. Went 0 > 70 off this recipe.

Drg is right in there with pup,dnc,thf,whm,bst,etc. It has jack for offensive JA, it's just like pup or bst but with a shittier pet. Where rng fits depends on how much haste you are giving the real DDs. With just haste rng competes pretty well. Give the actual DDs marches and they pull well ahead. Give them haste samba too and it's no contest. And I think people are overstating how bad sam is. The question did say with empyreans, and fudo is pretty good. Something more like actual DDs (war,mnk,nin) -> other stuff -> drk and rng.

Hope this doesn't double post. Read my post above hers. I went 0-60 off gold nuggets then 60-70 off platinum (long time ago) There was no cap as she said, but I was under the impression that larger level gap = more impurities during feeding. More impurities = more explosions. More explosions = less time feeding. Less time feeding = less skill ups.
