I dont even know when I use PDT anymore since I can just take hits and have the WHM keep me cured anyways.
No, cause their a piece of shit for DPS. I'd recommend the most dmg in your weapon slot as your weapon. Unless you're exp'ing or something, I wouldn't really expect to have a stalwart's available at all times, especially when low manning, so while fstr will be capped, I where you aren't gaining benefit from the attack.
There's plenty of mobs that terror, stun, or have a TP move with a "Cast time". There's also Ulhuadshi who I guarantee you aren't countering worth shit while Psyche Suction is in effect (not to mention your dmg is also useless, you may as well full-time PDT.
You of all people are making this statement? Perma attack capped, why would you even consider Fire Taipans? They are identical to the PDT ones, except sans the PDT. VIT/STR are the exact same for WS mods, fSTR is capped, pdif is capped...same base damage.
Personally, and I've made this argument in LS plenty of times, if I were to do a trial weapon for mnk besides Victory Smite, it'd be PDT Taipans. Fire Taipans are overrated and a huge waste of time.
In that case, I'd take the TP loss and just swap to earth staff tbh. I still see no reason for PDT h2hThere's plenty of mobs that terror, stun, or have a TP move with a "Cast time". Attack isn't perma capped, you're not going to have a stalwart's on you 100% of the time, unless you're just exp'ing (lolexping) or building lights. You of all people are making this statement? Perma attack capped, why would you even consider Fire Taipans?
Is there any way to determine the ring order on FFXIAH? I've been using it for macros, but I notice that if I equip a ring in a different slot for a different set (EX: Rajas as ring1 in TP, but ring2 for WS) it won't equip unless I hit the macro 2x. Same for earrings.
Was it offically determined that Crit rate caps at 75%?
Doesn't cap.
Edit: too slow
Caps at 100%, silly.
Good to keep in mind that her test involved a COR Roll. There may be a 75% gear cap that Atmas and gear build towards for all we know.
Is ~90% with atmas + Jupiter's Staff. Rouge's Roll only added ~6% crit for the last ~80 hits which only had 2 non-crits. If there's a cap, it's probably from total crit rate gained with Atmas (RR + GH).
Is there a spot to pin Iktomi that doesn't involve me running through bats? or is the one near outpost my best bet.
