From what I understand, Empyrean > WS damage (if you can 5-hit without STP) > STP > STR > Vermeil

Not really sure where Shepard's suggestion of Barbarus Bhuj would fit in there, but I would guess slightly below STR, well above Vermeil.

When there's enough attacks on screen at once, sometimes they can slip through regardless of what you filter.

Those are the correct filters, but there's no remedy, as far as I know.

Seeing as how Lord Ruthven is never up in xarcabard anymore, I'm trying to find a way to kill it in the other 3 zones with the least amount of people possible. I heard RDM/NIN x2 maybe be possible, was wondering if that was true? If not, what would be the best setup to kill it with the least amount of people?

Eh, posting is definitely quicker than testing yourself. Though obvouisly it'll take far longer to get an answer. Also, it may end up taking longer if you have to read a number of posts to get an answer (which obviously may never even happen), but just asking is much quicker.

What's a good, easy-to-obtain H2H to hold me down until I complete Revenant Fists trials?

Right now I'm lvl 71 MNK with a pair of Destroyers on hand. I don't want to spend too much time going after a drop/doing drawn-out Trial when I have all the Coins of Advancement ready to upgrade to Revenant Fists already.

I'm thinking just use Hades Sainti through to lvl 85 and until I complete my Revenant Fists trials? I am not very knowledgeable about MNK so input please!

No one is going to care if you use destroyers in a pick up group. Get to 85 and get on with your life.

obviously not destoryers, since you still have to unlock it, which is also time consuming, though not as bad as trials. Both Wagh or Hades should do you fine, not like it takes long beofre you hit 85 anyway.
