DRK/SCH Sleepga/Absorb-TPga Fell Cleave burn GO?
Is it possible that DRK/SCHs could do a Fell Cleave burn better then WAR/SAMs, since they have AbsTPga, Sleepga, Last Resort, Souleater, Stoneskin, Blink, Aquaveil, Dread Spikes...?
Dread Spikes would go down in less than a second, the Manifestation abs-TP is an interesting idea but probably impractical. Getting the sleep off without PD would be impossible which kind of takes you back to square one.
Can you -ga absorb tp? Sleepga is useless, since stratagems recharge far too slowly to use it regularly, dread spikes i guess would be nice if you don't have a smn...

Yes you can -ga Absorb-TP for like instant 300tp. Im talking just for Fell Cleave burns. If you had enough DRK/SCHs you should have enough stratagems to go around.

It's just a thought. With a few DRK/SCH, SE/LR/Dread Spikes/Sleepga/Abs-TPga would always be ready, all you'd need is a puller.
Stoneskin/Blink/Dread Spikes should hold until sleepga goes off.
Recast would make it a once a pull deal and you'd achieve the same thing with Sekkanoki.
Do you ever heard of retaliation? Most of the time you have 100TP ready before animation of first WS will end.
With capped azure 80% of the time you will have soothing chest allows you to sekkanoki+mighty strikes which kills IT mobs in 3 sec and DC wont even have a chance to get hit by 2nd WS.
Why the fuck would you want to use souleater?
Idk what kind of fell cleave pt you doing (maybe some 4-5 mobs top) but 10-20 mobs will rape your dread spikes+stoneskin etc. in the blink of eye with last resort active.
Idk why you guys need SMNs for Fell cleave. I'm doing Fell cleave with WHM and he can easily handle the cure (about 8-10mobs usually). Note that mobs killed by Fell cleave WS repops as Decent challange (eventually) beside the one you are engaged (I think). I dont exactly know if that works as intended but I think mobs killed by Fell cleave dmg dies as yellow and that fact breaks their check party number to calculate lvl of their next spawn.
Ofc most of the ppl still wont accept that lvl of the mobs repops is based (if mob dies normal way) on number ppl in the pt ( and nothing else like time of kill etc.) with Fell cleave (and maybe other AoE) being exception/s of this rule.
Absorb TP-ga will only work if the mobs have TP. If the mobs have TP, then someone is probably already dead whether it be the puller or the DRK himself.
On the subject of Aeolian Edge farming... Once RDM gets Shield Mastery, I wonder if it will be practical to train like 20 mobs and get your damage taken to an easily manageable level but still high enough to give TP. It's not gonna be as good as Retaliation, but it could theoretically still be obscenely fast TP gain. I would wager that, of the jobs that can use it, RDM can probably get Aeolian the highest given its mods.
Unfortunately, that would likely require an outside healer. Maybe RDM + BLU and they could take turns AOEing mobs down!
