$8 Bluray and $4 DVDs is pretty cool. I may go by in the afternoon and see if there's anything worthwhile left.

Let me get this straight, I can get
an 8 foot HDMI cable
an 8 outlet surge protector
a TV screen cleaning kit
for ONLY $199.97?! I would ask I was missing something, but this is Monster we're talking about
Worst part is that it's a 80 dollar saving....
Monster + Best buy has to be the most retarded ripoffs in the past 20 years.
People buy into it, that's why. It's the same as people who buy DLC that's already on their discs. Whoops.
Anyway, I'll definitely be heading into Best Buy to see if I can pick up a few good deals.
Newegg's Pre-BF 72-Hour Sale
The highlight of this one are the TV deals, including a LG 60" LCD TV for $1299 (down from $2799)..
Amazon has LOTR on Bluray for 7.99 each. Not extended editions, those aren't out yet, but still. 25$ for the trilogy is hot shit.
It's not just Best Buy. Fry's is writing up/firing associates who don't attach a minimum % of monster equipment to there sales. The markup is ridiculous. Something like 70% on the surge protector I bought. And Best Buy is horrible at marking up prices on other cables, especially ethernet cable.$7.99 at Fry's for like a 12' vs 24.99 for the same size, and like 30 bucks for a usb cable that has a 90% markup.
Anyone got suggestions about TV's? I'm looking at the 40" westinghouse that's in Targets for the sizerice ratio alone, but I'm curious if anyone can offer suggestions on any of the other ones, 24" and up
Hopefully Amazon price matches Walmart on their deals like last year. I'd love to pick up a bunch for $5 blurays. They already had live free die hard for $5 today. Also had Prince of Persia for $10. Can't go wrong with Amazon. (Plus you can sit on your ass and not deal with the crowds)
Barring any sweet prices on back to the future trilogy or lost complete collection, the rest of their selection sucks as far as blus go.

FYI
Some people have had success buying the TV in advance, so they can skip out on waiting in line. Buy it for normal price now, price adjust on BF.
I rolled up to my local Target, gave them the DPCI number (008-09-0740) and a dude from the stock room rolled out with one. Right as we hit the checkout, some asshat manager ran up and told them it's not for sale until BF.
YMMV
At least roll up in advance and check that they actually have a stock on hand and try to squeeze a number out of them. A lot of stores sold FW assholes 5+ of them, so it's possible there may be none come Friday morning.
Think I might shoot for a replacement PSP only, everyone is going batshit crazy with HDTVs this year. I wouldn't mind one, but took enough of a hit on my wallet.
if you need some more sports apparel original retro brand is doing 40% off entire site. with the code ORBLACK

Just snagged the first six seasons of the Simpsons a half hour ago for about $65 on Amazon. Most all of them sold out about 30 seconds after I placed my order. Every season of Smallville is $10 starting at 7:30pm est, which is great because I've been putting off buying season 9.
I quickly glanced the thread as I'm in a rush to get to work. I'm looking for a good HDTV deal in NY (so no Fry's D=), about 32" or so. Anybody have some good suggestions?
Best Buy updated again. $190 Toshiba Satellite laptop.

Read the fine print on price matching BF add's. Some places like BB and Fry's suspend the price match policy for black friday type deals.
