I got the 40" from target. New monitor go!. Had to camp out in front of Target from 7pm till 4 in the morning, but was 10th in line. If I'd gotten there anytime after 8 I wouldn't have gotten one, there were 30+ people by then. I'm willing to bet the line to the door stretched a quarter of a mile if you put it out in a line instead of wrapped around the building, parking lot, then back around the building. Once those doors where open it was a fucking nut house.
I'm very happy with it though. Using it with the Dsub input is far superior to the HDMI from my video card for some reason though. *shrugs*
I got to target at 2am and could've gotten that TV. They Had a fuckton of those Westinghouse tvs. They only had 2 of the $50 office chairs. Bought both.
Fuck Black Friday and all the disgusting displays of humanity it brings. Like every other year, slept in past 9:30 and did some shopping online.
Our target had a total of 10 TVs. And when I showed up at 2am the line consisted of roughly 150+ people. Damn welfare checkians got all the TVs before I even walked in the door. Saw one 4yr old puerto rican kid sitting on a tv, since his parents left him to guard it while they went off to do more shopping. Simply amazing.
I wasn't after anything like tv's myself this year. just got some stuff like toys and clothes for the family. my fiance picked out some pajamas she wanted. got my dad some paints cause he loves to paint constantly and its what he wanted on his list. got my mom pajamas. got my two 10 month old and 4 month old nieces some toys that sing and make sounds lol.
tomorrow sales are the ones i really wanna hit. the base here is selling xbox 360 arcades for 80 bucks. gonna try to score 2 of em. 1 for me and 1 for my bro. if my parents get em i'm getting my bro black ops with his.
Just woke up. No intention of going anywhere. Anything online worth buying that isn't another TV or computer? We have 5 of each now because of black fridays and other sales, lol.
I ended up getting a 40" Samsung LED-LCD for $750 off of Newegg and a red (lol)Wii for my little brothers for Christmas. I was trying to hold out for whatever "Secret $400 LCD" Newegg was supposed to have up, but they're 2 hours late on putting it up and I'll be at work in 30 minutes.
Any deaths yet? Doesn't someone always die during this Black Friday maddness?
Anyone know of a TV deal still going on equiv to the 40" Westinghouse LCD Target was doing? Not really looking to spend over 400$ and that's all I can seem to find.
I got drunk last night and passed out, woke up on a friend's couch at 6:30 a.m. and started driving home. As I got to the Crenshaw Blvd. exit, I thought "Hey, there's a Wal-Mart down here" and proceeded to find it.
The Crenshaw Wal-Mart on black friday was a disgusting display of humanity. Just the odor hitting you in the face was fucking gross.
I camped out since Wednesday night (Target) and the first person in line. Got everything what I wanted including the TV, PSP deal, and toys for the nephews. Our target had about 50 of them.
Not to rip on anyone who's done it, but I dont get the whole camping out through Thanksgiving for the deals. Id rather drop the extra 150$ bucks on a TV then miss thanksgiving dinner, but then again my family makes some fucking kick ass stuffing and turkey. We had freezing rain up here and people were camping Target for upwards of 8-10hrs in it. Also apparently had a fist fight breakout from what my friend says XD
Got a PS3 for 260$ and Bayonetta for 7$. Bought my mom a nice laptop, that's about it. Saw some nice TVs but did all that last year, plus it was raining really bad, didn't want to have those in the back of the truck bed in that.
And yes, I've never camped for anything and probably never will. If I can't get it by showing up a little before opening time, then I don't really need it that bad. People camping a week in advance is like wtf. Deep fried turkey and dressing and cheesecake makes that shit not even worth it.
Trying to decide on a jacket/sweater. Maybe some of the gays will grace this thread and help me decide.

Amazon was selling it for 12$ early this morning (~6 AM PST) and I picked it up and had a coupon code. They were gone pretty much instantly though.
It's more of a tradition if anything in our family, but even still we do save a lot and get what we want. We bought a lot this year, so it wasn't just to save $150 on one television.
I get my dinner delivered fresh from the oven. My family understands that what I do saves us hundreds, if not thousands some years. So when dinner is ready, they make sure to send the feast to me first before they eat because I'm the one standing in the cold for 30+ hours. Also, facetime comes in handy.
