Yeah last week I spent an entire day getting Minikin, was totally worth it.

Though looking back I'm rather pissed that I had to turn down a Lamprey Lord PT to do it . _ .

Actually it can be very tough for lowman when 1 need to be SAM. BLU tho makes this fight turn to joke. With marches and haste it made maybe 6 attacks in whole fight.
I mean for my trio it was a problem because our WHM and RDM is also SAM so our setup was BRD SAM me. Since I have no rdm or whm yet it was very tough because even if I was tanking perfectly after acid mist it was hate reseting and killing brd and then me (one hit and you dead I got once 300tic poison) he hits fast and pretty accurate and Acid mist wipes shadows. It was at 80 tho so now it should be much easier. WHM+SAM can kill it no problem especially when WHM/blm to stun acid mist.

i'm trying to work out an atma set for smn bloodpacts. finding out razed ruins works for predator claws is amazing, i'm peaking at like 4500 damage on most trash and low bosses easily, but i'm having trouble deciding on the 2nd and 3rd (when i get it) atmas, as well as a set to do a good enough boost to merit pact magic damage. refresh atmas really aren't needed, so i want to focus purely on damage.

Since you said you probably wont be getting the harder bosses, you will probably only be getting a max of 2. You get one for buying for 100k, one for killing 1 zone boss (easy), and one for killing 7 zone bosses (uh... depending if you can find people to do it with, may take time)

edit: Atmas are key items, you either buy them from the atma memory npcs, or get them from NMs. Then you can pay 100 cruor every run to activate whichever atma you want.

Rereading this.. ok I think what I gathered by myself information wise was wrong then. I assumed I could just buy the 100k item over and over again to get as many atma as I want, but now I see.

So you can buy allllll the atma you want (not just three), and it will then be available from the NPC when you enter abyssea, but you can only apply the number of atma depending on how ever many lunars you have. In my case (atm) I can only have one active since you cant buy the 100k lunar more than once.

Here I thought I had to buy the 100k item, and then fuse it to the atma I wanted. If I wanted to have 5 atma to select from, I would have to buy the 100k item 5 times. But instead it's buy the 100k item once, and only once, and you can select which atma you want to have active by talking with the npc. So if one time I wanted full moon, and then another time I wanted kirin, and then another time I wanted ultimate, I would still only be paying the 100k once.

Okok.. well, thats better/worse from what I was thinking. At least I only have to buy the 100k item once.. however thats the only lunar I will have. So ill only have one atma active.. Ill probably use Ultimate mainly.

Hmm.. so if I wanted to have two, ill have to beat a zone boss, and if I want three, ill have to beat 7 of the 9 NMs.. Mah. I guess finding someone killing the zone boss wont be too hard.

Unless im missing some solo dot methods 2 could be solo by mages and bria probably by NIN/dnc or dnc/nin. You could argue 2-3 from 6 are many but its very limited solo.

Kukulkan is a joke (took it to 30% in a single cs a few days ago), briarus can be kited. Don't see any reason you can't solo glavoid, if you've got a fuck ton of time, but even without that, that's 4/6.

Hmm, expn my PLD atm, I guess Ambition is a good enough choice lol..
And for BST.. hmmm... guh.. maybe AlphaOmega, or Ultimate for Primal Rend lol..
Yeah, synth atma kind of suck for the most part, not too shabby for mages, but dd not so much. Guess ill have to see about getting some NMs killed..

Maybe you are right but still most of those NMs require good RDM and I will surprise you not everyone has it

Kukulkan can probably done by any job really, it's easy to kite. Orobon obviously anyone can do. The rest can only be done by a handful of jobs, but i'm pretty sure my point was just that they are soloable, not that everyone and their mothers could actually do it.

Didn't think i needed to back up a claim that at least 4/6 of them can be soloed. None of them are hard, and i've seen numerous posts about it before. Not one of the 4 are more difficult than running in circles and spamming nukes.
