If the stat resistance and absorb rate is fairly high (it says "damage" which I assume implies physical+magical) then it might be worth checking out for soloing.

From when i was using jp wiki to piece together info on drops and what not, some JP will still lie in 2010.yes some info is right, and some info is utter bullshit...theyre human, and some humans exhibit dickery, being JP doesnt absolve said dickery that certain humans exhibit.

25%? AV's Atma and Melo's atma combined gave me about 2% absorb rate. Or did you mean something else?

Any1 know where to find the damn Dark Miasma in chasm? I've burnt many stones running many laps through that place trying to find, and it's the last quest I need in there.

Targeted one near top of the mountain, but it was down. And of course moved before it blocked the path and it wouldn't accept trade while down.

You and 4,000,000 other people ... ok so I'm exaggerating but from what I can tell, once they're down they stay down ... until a server reboot .. so only a couple people get it each server reset. I know a lot of people who just plain gave up. I've been carrying the counteragent for a while now just in case.

Since everyone was spamming it for seals / fame, air quality in the area really shot up. Since people stopped caring about it, air quality dropped, and miasma's are taking longer to respawn.

Took me a while to complete this quest. If using Apradar, there are many dark miasma spread throughout the zone. I picked one and camped it. Waited for about 45min and quickly traded when it finally showed.

I see them mostly around Conflux 05.

Conflux 3 has a lot too. I've actually dispelled two Miasmas (lol, take that Lakshmi) and they were both north of Conflux 3 blocking the north-west corner of the mountain.

anyone have some data on how often atma of the demonic skewer's null physical dmg activates?

I would imagine it isn't that often, judging from similar atmas. JP wiki lists Atma of Aquatic Ardor (Occasionally absorbs physical damage/Occasionally absorbs magical damage) as only 3%.

English wiki has Demonic Lash (Occasionally absorbs magic damage) listed as 25%. Sounds awesome, right? One of our guys had that one and we did a test run with Depths Digester, who uses a lot of aga spells, and I think it only triggered once or twice. We didn't fight it all that long to get a real feel for the proc rate, but there's no way it's 25%. I would say 10% at best, but probably only 5%.

Got a screenshot of where exactly? Trying to get savior and this is one of the last quests I'm missing.

I don't have one, but I can explain where it is pretty well. The mountain is roughly rectangular. I warped to 3 and ran north along the mountain towards Pallid Percy. Instead of heading out towards Pallid Percy, I turned and stayed along side the mountain. There's a crack on the ground there, and that's it. I think I just got incredibly lucky to find it in the same spot twice. Once I needed to dispel it for the quest, and once to get to Sandworm a little faster.

On that half of the map, APradar shows a potential smoke spout almost anywhere there's a prevalent crack on the ground. There are some cracks over by Antlions too.
